I have a question that will probably spark a lot of debate. And I would like the people that answer to be objective.…
IMHO XL is the one that XY couldn't help but love, while Jing is the one that she tried so hard to love. XL is her heart's choice, while Jing is her mind's choice.
I am not even sad, I am just glad it's over. I lost all the connection I had with the characters, except XL, thank you drama. The novel is a treasure, painful in so many ways, this was just boring.
I see the point you are making, but that phrasing almost makes it sound like XL never gave XY anything. When he…
Oh that's not what I was trying to point out. Posted this fragment as a reminder for those who keep saying that XY was afraid or tortured by XL that their relationschip and their bond was nothing like they make it look.
if XiaoYao truly deeply loved XiangLiu, but feared to admit it - who was TuShan Jing then....a handy substitute?.....in…
On a metaphorical level, their relationships / ending are explained by the crystal ball too. XY and Jing are going to live their rest of their lives on one of the islands that XL mentioned to XY. XL added a man to the crystal ball that XY sent him, but who's the real match for a mermaid, the man or the merman?
Jing is a side character in the drama and a plot device in the novel, I agree that he had more dialoque in the novel, but so did everyone else. Even that scene that he had with XY's mom didn't really make him any favours in the novel, so I don't understand why some people are so upset that the drama deleted it. It was basically her mom asking XY "why him" and XY answering that it's because only him will never leave her. I mean come on...
that requires a TON of assumption and illogical leaps. the more obvious logical interpretation is that she answered…
I don't believe I ever did that. Everyone is free to believe whatever they choose to believe, but I personally try to understand the author's intention and not really to convince anyone of my beliefs. A lot of these scenarios that jing's fans came up with seem forced to me, but again, everyone is free to interpret things as they like.
A post from “Star Dramachaser” on Facebook (pasting here with link) Star Dramachaser: “About the bullying…
Star Dramachaser is one of the most biased jingers that I came across and she doesn't even know the novel that well. Honestly she is full of bs and I wouldn't believe much of what she says.
XL: Are you willing to marry Chisui Fenglong?XY: No, I'm not.XL: Are you willing to marry Tushan Jing?XY: No answer.XL:…
It's obvious that the answer to the last question îs XL, only people în denial will believe differently. What she most wanted was to spend the rest of her life with XL, but she knew that's impossible, since XL has already chose his path long before he met her. However, she will get her second best option, marrying shiqi, that's why the ending is not a tragedy, but not happy either.
Funny how some people believe that just because XY marries Jing the story has a happy ending. AhNian married CX, so what? Is she happy? CX got the throne, is he happy? Who did XY most wanted to spend her entire life with? Can it be even more obvious? Thinking about it, even FFYY and Hou got their wish come true, their son is now the leader of the tushan's. Even the empress, she is now the most powerful woman togheter with AhNian, but again, so what? The ending is not a tragedy, but it's not happy either. For none of them. What they gained can't compensate for what they lost, XY herself said so, and yet some people believe that she and jing are the exception. That's missing the whole point of the story.
Bai Jue in Ancient Love Poetry. However, in that drama the FL initially loved and acknowledged her love to ML…
It's not an happy ending, TH herself said the ending is not a tragedy, because everyone got what they wanted most. But tell me, is CX happy? Is AhNian happy? They all had their wish come true, but are they really happy?
XY, just like how you said that you love Jing and how much he means to you, I want you to stay and keep loving…
Ohh I am going to dislike it even more if they don't give us the wild crying scene that happened in the novel at the news of his death. Altough I am prepared not to get it, a lot milder in the leaked script.
"Xiao Yao stared at the empty plate and her heart soared “The only person who can make poisons this tasty in the entire world is me!”
Bei laughed back “And the only person in the entire world who can appreciate your great “cooking” talents is me!”
Oh she will never know...
