I don't think so because it's really annoying and you expect something from the drama after waiting years and…
The only episode to me that was kind of meh was epsiode 4. So Im enjoying this show immensely. If people want to spend their whole week being furious for no reason, then have at it.
But to claim this is complete queer erasure is just not true at all so I think the comment section is way over blown.
But what do I know, Im an old gay. Ill save my judgement for the completion of the show.
Someone help me understand: Does Heesu live with his mother and one sister, or two sisters? What happened to his…
He has three sisters and they all live in the house. Common in Korea for adult children to live at home until they get married. He has a mom and a dad but like a lot of Korean parents in general, they are gone a lot. They make brief appearances here and there.
Whoah what an episode, this is definitely straying far from the source of material. We definitely see some more…
He was just as obsessed in the Manwha. I think it just doesnt feel that way because of the format but he was always interrupting, pushing people out of the way, etc. I remember when I read those panels how I thought it was a little much. But, on screen I think theyve been able to make it way more obvious. On the Manwha, CY knows there are rumors about them all over school that Heesu seems oblivious too. Part of the reason his relationship with his older brother is so bad is because the older brother also suspected something.
Im kind of wondering if its CY posting on the message board as a way to get Heesu and SW together. In the flash back scenes it does seem like CY DOES know that Heesu is possessive of him in a way thats not usual for friendship. In the webtoon he doesnknow too and wants him snd SW to get together. And it does feel like JY and SW are pretty good friends to know each others backgrounds.
I think some people were so convinced that this was going to be a straight romance series or bromance, that now that its not they feel like they have to double down so that they still have something to "crusade" against.
The preview for Friday makes me so excited. Lol. Heesu continues to be clueless. I love that Seungwon cant even answer the phone.
Im really loving how Heesu is portrayed. I understand Ahn Ji Ho meant when he said he couldnt pass up playing Heesu because hes just so fun. Which he is. He brings a smile to everyones face while still having his own issues to face.
You're all a broken record of indifference to the straight couple's "5 minutes" of fame (or shame). "Who cares?…
But they ate already part of the main story even in the webtoon.
To me, this isnt worth kicking up a fuss.
As someone who lives actually in Korea, Im just excited for well-known mainstream actors not at the beginni g of their careers and still actually high schoolers when ghey shot this making this. Its beautifully made and its about a young, gay, Korean high school boy navigating love in high school. I take this as a HUGE win. To me, it isnt straigbt washed at all. Having two straight characters that were already in the webtoon to begin with and always around is fine with me because at the end of the day, we won.
