Well, of course the director would have to be promoting the actor who is acting in the drama he's directing. Imo, he's not the best actor (Meteor Garden wasn't very fantastic either), but some people love him.

Okay, that's your opinion, and I respect that. I enjoyed all the dramas, and I also did not really like Wu Bosong as much as other people, but I understand why he is loved so much. I gave ALSB 7.5, PYHOMS 10, and TLE 9. Because they are written by the same author (not to mention title starters), have the same themes and are referenced int he other two dramas, I would highly recommend this series to any romcom lover.
