I think I have watched too many c-dramas lately and they (romcoms at least) now seem so formulated to me. It's…
You're totally right, some of the plots are recycled and it can get boring, but there are plenty of dramas (mostly higher budget ones, with some lower budget) that have very intriguing plots and characters. Even when they have cliches, some romcoms masterfully insert other details to made it a wonderful watch.
I haven't watched many Kdramas, but I do know a writer who has, so I'll see what I can do. :)
This is obviously not your fault, and I am in no way criticising you; just airing my complaints - but as a Computer…
Hmmm...it would be better to write this comment in the comments sections of the dramas because these dramas indeed do focus on gaming but you're probably trying to convey your disappointment in the dramas, and not this list. :D
Dt.Appledog's time is robotics, yes, but keep in mind that this is GGS's sequel, and the novel did focus on gaming...
Thanks China, for dropping all the episodes on me like nothing. I love this new Cdrama norm, now let me just jump off a cliff because my schedule is utterly ruined...
I just finished the first ep, and it was quite enjoyable. I normally watch romance dramas, but slice-of-life dramas are also my cup of tea sometimes. And just from this 80 minutes, I saw happiness, devastation, joy, sadness, and regret. So many emotions mixed together that depict our lives so accurately.
And even if these actors aren't real doctors, they felt like real doctors, and I could almost feel like I was in their shoes. A doctor's ability to keep calm and comfort devastated patients and family members is so strong and well-nurtured. No matter how sad they feel for a patient, they have to stay strong on the outside to show their patient that there still is hope. They experience so many life and death moments that while it might become a norm for them, it is by no means not traumatic. Just the first episode made me start to think more about everything medical professionals do for us. Even though I was already very appreciative for them, the first episode made me think more about their daily lives in the hospital and everything they are experiencing to save the lives of countless people.
Wow, this Cdrama rom-com doesn't disappoint! It's cute and fluffy, but is also so inspirational! Including it in my article was the right move. Seeing the number of watchers, I really wish that more people know of how good it is. :D
Another great article, UY!! It was so fun reading this article, and I could relate to it so much. I also first watched Cdramas, and some of my first ones were My Little Princess and Love O2O. And just like what you wrote, I was tugged into Asian-Dramaland with the most light-hearted rom-coms, but I started discovering more and more fabulous dramas. Anyone who has watched dramas for quite some time can agree that as we watch more, our tastes kind of change and we become more sure of what we like to watch. I loved Love O2O in the beginning, but as I explored more, I came to the realization that it actually was at the considerably bottom level of my favorites pyramid. I guess that's what happens as we become more experienced. Again, thanks for this article and such a fun read!
FREAKING KNEW THAT A BITCH WILL COME UP IN THE UPCOMING EPISODES. THE HECK!!! I HATE IT WHEN THERE IS ONE. NOW…
Huh? Where is the so-called b*tch? I just finished episode 26 and did not see anything of the sort. Are you talking about a trailer for an upcoming episode?
As much as i love Vincenzo, this article reads like it's written by a teenager.
Woah there! I'm a teenager, and I like to write articles as well. Perhaps you can message the author of the article with some suggestions, that would be very helpful to them as this is their very first article! :D
