Would be a good thing if his directions taken then would not be as utterly insane as they are, derailing everything that was good and coherent before. In fact, it was refreshing to see in the beginning but now, especially with his constant manic rush toward the next nonsensical plot twist, is just annoying, tbh. i know that weekenders are structured to react to ratings regarding its story, but this writer seems has really made himself a slave to it, only reacting to whatever the ratings are doing instead to tell a coherent story he obviously had mapped out before before trashing it for ratings, looking like an unhinged 🤡 with a (figurative) pen.

Like there is a biiiiig difference between throwing well made curveballs to keep a story exciting and people guessing. And throwing curveballs but constantly hitting yourself in the face with them, and yet you continue doing it, because you kinda like the pain and you may get the throw right that one time. This writer is the latter. Because throwing in plot twists for shock value only without rhyme or reason is not innovative nor clever, it is bad writing.

Well there were mentions of ttalgi in the og spoilers that checked 100% out up till around episode 32 before writer or production team derailed in the weirdest way so yeah I believe JH was meant to have direct gong fam ties and maybe even with TK on top of it as half brother yeah. Or even fraternal twin idk. This would have been his redemption arc then with him helping to bring down his other hellspawn half and becoming an actual reasonable human being who sees that he isn't cut for being a father and thus leaves for the US in the end, popping in every few years with gifts for the kid as cool uncle. But naaaah it all went the direct opposite direction and off the cliff instead welp, treating YD/HN like trophies he needs to collect for his cupboard, wearing their skins in the process. Yikes. And a pity of what could have beens.

Fwiw he plays the creepy, slimy bastard convincingly tho. To me it seems as if the writer was banking on BN being ttalgi but then remembered he made DW/YM date and panicked, screamed abooooort and thus made ttalgi the first born so the ages no longer match up. Bc before that we rightfully assumed that ttalgi was born AFTER Patrick and given away in preference of the male child, to not have another mouth to feed. Makes much more sense and seems to be a very recent change indeed. And in this change, Hee slots in perfectly imo. But we will see.

Also i am sure there had been og plans to make the creep indeed the grandson of halmeoni for rehabilitation's sake as they planned to have him toned down a lot.
