My eyes twitch every time i see a damn toothbrush being used for dna in kdrama. It is never a good idea but they seem to be allergic to in person testing in kdramaland for some reason. Like in Once Again, there was a sister fraud storyline that started with a stolen toothbrush in order for fake sister to gain money to pay off her debt and ended only because the siblings of the father she defrauded in playing the younger sister banded together and stole hair to let it be tested in a lab which obviously resulted in a negative result (positive for them bc she was a complete asshole on top of that lol) and fake sis getting jailed. Which honestly is gonna the result of the whole newest plot insanity too, along with shithead becoming a jailbird too.

in the unlikely event of it being true they would be inlaws tho 💀😬 But truth be told if that happens... were i Taekyung i would remove myself from that fam register voluntarily faster than anyone could object, take my wife and kid (as him being bio dad becomes very likely then) and move to the other side of the country. never to be seen again. BYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEE we are out do not text, do not call 😂 Only come visit after vigorous vetting, two people at most.

definitely the most soap opera-esque show i have seen in a long time (my first weekender too, but have watched two others now tho never watched a daily drama so far) since i tended and tend to avoid makjang but i fell ass first into this one and it is now long too late to walk away hahaha. Oddly addictive in its insanity and the leads are cute as heck in spite of all (just wish their romance would be given more room to breathe and grow, instead this rush from plot twist to plot twist and conflict to conflict. That is really annoying how they are treated like punching bags particularly Taekyung)

Oh definitely. twitter (xitter? pronounced shitter, how fitting 😂) buddy also said the actress playing the role mostly does guest roles that last only for 2-3 eps. So that is good news in my book that the character won't overstay in the show and this whole farce is uncovered quickly.

Many viewers in the viki timed comments were confused as to where the leads had said baby making sex but that is the level of implications you get in family dramas. Nothing more. It suffices tho and it is the same thing here with the make out kissing, fade to black, next morning/day wedding reg with YD/TK still exhausted when coming back home that YD even needed a nap lol

They do seem like extra private people so even small displays of affections are not their thing publically, but as next episode shows they are more and more comfy and cuddly with each other. Yeah this storyline reminds me of the sister fraud one in Once Again, but in ffw mode (due to the only 8 eps left) and it ended with the fake sister in jail, since family fraud is no small crime in SK. So i guess to get JH out of the way of the leads the writer gonna make him take the fall along with the scampenguin and if he is the dna giver after all, it leads to loss of any parental rights if jail time is more than one year. In a normal legal world this termination would be temporary equal with the number of jail years, but i think here in this bizzaro dramaland where you can one-stop shop for a child at the borough office no question asked just insert a name and date of birth we won't look up if it is valid anyway.... it would be final and thus TK can slide in and adopt Haneul. So there IS some resemblance of rhyme and reason to this insanity i guess???

However, we can still go the TK bio dad plot twist route for extra humiliation while dna tests are handed out like candy and all are cross-tested with haneul and spacewaste coming back a glorious zero. Either way, domestic feedback for this newest insanity is scathing so i am sure they are interested in wrapping it up quickly. I have been reading the official kbs message board and cackled along.with comments aka "where are the warm positive family stories now? What is this garbage?" "What is this? Are you kidding me?" "The show is almost over. Why is there still so much conflict? It is too much, fix it. "Send JH/Nun to jail for fraud." "DNA tests now!" And of course the classic "Make Haneul Tk's bio child! STOP IGNORING OUR WISHES!" 😂
