yeah as always i did a deep dive here into the laws or rather a dip with both feet lol And as long BN is kept off the gong fam register all is fine and dandy legally with TK/YD's marriage, since they all have separate fam registers and all. But if BN were on it, it would make them step cousins legally and they would not be allowed to marry since stepcousins, no matter the lack of blood relations are still too close to the family tree to not be counted as "related."

There is just an inherent ease with how Taekyung slipped seamlessly into the role of caretaker and parent for Haneul, and best of all, nothing of it feels forced because the plot demands it™ All very natural (unlike his "romantic" dynamic with YD tbh lmao) and of course baby's Sol high comfortableness with AJH in general helps here a lot. She replies with babbling whenever AJH speaks to her, looks at him in a group (granny's room eps 40) fists her hand into his shirt and is generally so content when in his arms and it is the most adorable thing. They both have by now a better, more convincing dynamic than he has with BJH/YD, tbh 😂

i mean they really stood in circle and held hands and sang kumbaya undoing 7 eps of screeching in five minutes tops. THEY REALLY SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS SOONER THEN D:

The way i meeeeeelt every time Taekyung calls himself appa, i swear. 🥹 🫶 🥹 🫶 🥹 🫶🥹 🫶 🥹 🫶 Despite all that happened, he has never stopped seeing himself as such, and unlike the rotten trashbag, fully justified so. The scene of him trying and failing to put Haneul to sleep early in the morning is one of my favorite Taekyung/Haneul scenes. Because a) shows perfectly he is taking parenting and sharing its duties seriously and as a given "I'm off today, it is my turn on the weekends." b) his close bond with Haneul in general, like the baby girl is completely content in his arms and even babbles after he spoke to her, as if answering to him 🥹 🫶 c) The way he replied to halmeoni's bullshit accusations. "I'm taking care of my daughter here, not protesting against you." and "Do i have to feel certain raising my own child? She is my child, so i just try my best!" and then while leaving toward their bedroom he kisses the top of her head several times.

Oh, i get/know that. Koreans don't do PDA's it is very frowned upon socially. But i was talking about the moments where the leads are, in fact, alone... and there is just nothing. And i don't even mean overt skinship like kisses, making out etc... but just closely sitting together, head on shoulder, arm around shoulder/waist, small little touches in between or affectionate words, flirting/teasing, holding hands, kisses on cheek when coming home/leaving for work... things like that, but there is just nothing. They feel like platonic roommates raising a baby together instead of a soon to be married couple in love that has recently overcome all odds and found back together. They are always distant and looking uncomfortable when being/standing close together.

I did not mind it much before the timeskip due to the lie/guilty conscience and pregnancy between them (where they were even more affectionate with e/o than now, strangely enough) but now with everything out of the way between them they still act like awkward roommates and it really starts to stick out like a sore thumb tbh.
