yall i found a connection!KIM JUNHA's birthday is the same as AHN JAEHYUN!!!Kim junha-ahn jaehyun twins!!! Lolππππ
it is a tongue in cheek joke in case you failed to notice, tho. I am observing it amused, nothing more. No need to sulk/take it personally. All in good fun here, truly.
Yeah but given the writer has set up this conflict as the main one, the big reason and Damocles sword swords over…
Yeah, story needs conflict, and a major one that keeps growing as it progresses. And in this show it is indeed the lie which is exactly that. We have seen it, especially with Yeondoo how the burden of keeping it upright was wearing her down more and more. Taekyung was more unfazed by it bc his sole focus is YD basically, aka the one person in this rotten family who made his life there bearable. So i am not surprised that he planned to separate from the family instead of her, standing at her side through it all.Since she was the first and only person who did that for him as well.
Yeah but given the writer has set up this conflict as the main one, the big reason and Damocles sword swords over…
Yeah the lie was always meant to be revealed one way or another in the story. I would have liked inoks involvement but the writer was/is going for the big shock moment regarding her. Because daddy asscramp knows now it is only a matter of time until inok will. And given her reaction with sourgrapes the leads would do their best to fess up to her before she discovers and figures it out on her own. Because then the sense of betrayal will be tenfold given it involves her actual son and beloved daughter in law and (thought) grandchild. All she holds dear basically so this will hurt her but less so when they seek out the conversation with her before the implosion can happen. And with her bg, she surely will gain understanding for them after a while. She came around rather quickly with sourgrapes couple too. As for the father fail I hope he lives with that guilt of nearly having killed a child to be, and his son's only lifeline and bright spot in a suffocating family bullying and shunning him, for the rest of his days. I get being upset about being lied to but with the way he went behind TK's back to get what he wanted, blindsiding him and how cruelly he treated Yeondoo, a pregnant woman still in a delicate phase of pregnancy, and all his hypocrisy, I have lost all understanding and sympathy for him.
That appartement was really the ideal one for their own place and given they already shot there briefly that scene of TK's house hunting definitely a place they could go back to then. I just fear that the realtor agent has slightly ptsd now regarding Taekyung after the last time π so I would not be surprised if she would run away screaming upon seeing him, and in fact, them actually searching for a home together now. Realtor lady: 'you said he wasn't your husband and father of the child?" YD: Well... he is. Sorry for lying." *a horror theme plays as the lady looks at Taekyung waving to her* ππ€£π
Joke aside, of course they should involve inok in their childcare because no matter the circumstances she already loves Jinjja and will continue doing so once she has accepted the truth. I expect her to be way less hypocritical and practical about the fact of the child's paternity than her stupid, cruel husband in fact, because of her son's acceptance and love for Jinjja. It will help to bridge the gap here, so to speak. So yeah grandmother away, inok. π
That WTOD in EOAT was legendary tho. Best usage I have seen for it in a drama tbh hahaha. But yeah like you I thought it would play out very differently. That YD would collapse in an empty office or elevator maybe and morally bankrupt fishhead gleefully finding her first without helping her until JH comes in and goes wtf are you doing and carries YD off. Something like that. To have it happening in public with Taekyung at the other side of the crosswalk helplessly waiting for green traffic light to dash to her with all his might then, and yet being too late as she collapsed, was waaaaaay more cruel than that. As a writer I applaud the team for coming up with such a well done 'make it wooorse' scenario but as a viewer it is pure anguish ngl.
Don't really have any insight to next episodes. But this whole lying to family was a recipe for disaster to all…
Hahaha omg thanks, way to make an impression wow π there is an actual Shakespeare insult generator on the web so maybe I should start using this next time for my summaries lmao.
Don't really have any insight to next episodes. But this whole lying to family was a recipe for disaster to all…
She had given that answer already in eps 30 with a resounding Taekyung. Duh. She would only consider dungbeetle shitpile should hell freeze over, and even that is a stretch.
so i just checked and it is not much. He basically only says "Honey, to be honest..." in a manner of "listen to me" something like that. Not much to glean from those two words but preview makes it look as tho he is about to fess up of course (which will not happen tbh) I guess he is feeling bad for what happened and he damn well *should.* That is all. Heh.
And finally...In past posts weβve seen members dismiss the fact that they lied and just want them to move out…
Yeah but given the writer has set up this conflict as the main one, the big reason and Damocles sword swords over the leads' head as to "keep them in line."
(Dunno how to explain it but it is definitely a wanted impediment you put on characters as writer, for them to not be able to be without incoming conflict and not too happy too quickly? Something to build up bigger and bigger a problem or reveal bit by bit as such to and for the characters to tackle then. It is a bit like an onion of doom, with layers peeled back it gets worse and worse for your characters and challenges them for eventual growth. Stuff like that. Long story short, the lie as it happens, is all by design, a writing choice. )
So while it would have been nice and clever to involve Inok in it all from the start, it is not how the story is set up by the writer (team) they chose the classic bomb/duck and cover for as long as possible way, most likely also so the two demons have any leeway to act, as they are the full plot devices who a) drive the leads further together instead apart and TK to commitment of fatherhood, b) important to set up the main conflict bomb so it can *somewhat* explode in a controlled manner so the leads are pushed to deal with it and act on their own so it can eventually be solved and is no longer threatening them or their happiness c) profit, um i mean marriage registration :D
I still think Yeondoo and Taekyung should search for and move into their own place, but only after the conflict and lie is cleared up and all is said and done. Because a) they need more room and space for the kid very soon anyway, The annex is so not baby proof lol b) they really need some (alone) time away from all the meddling every five seconds to grow their bond as family, couple and parents to be, and last but not least c) If i were TK honestly would not trust father dearest anymore with the safety of yeondoo, sorry not sorry. Who is to say he is not gonna pull the rug from under them again once he finds anything else not suited to his liking? Yeah no. Having their own space is better and gives the much needed safety and sense of home. Something that is fully theirs, instead of an ill-decorated gaudy house, with vestiges of an even more ill-fated fallen thru marriage. Plus they can control better who and when comes and goes. They can still visit the fam like every day or every other day when needed.
I still believe JH will be redeemed. We're already seeing some cracks in his attitude. I thought it very interesting…
i still hope he fucks off to the USA in the end, only to return every few years. He has lost all right to be near YD and the kid forever with all his despicable actions in my eyes. Righting the wrongs with backstabbing his demon is the least he can do but it won't be enough. I want him gone and out of the leads lives.
I doubt it, but it would not be the craziest theory, given how much the family tree is already on fire. And when…
Haha truuuuue. That would rule out the twin theory tho bc i find it hard to imagine Inok would forget about a whole other baby being carried to term and born lmao
I. Just. Had. A. Weird. Thought. What ifβ¦β¦..TK is not In Okβs biological sonβ¦.
I doubt it, but it would not be the craziest theory, given how much the family tree is already on fire. And when the leads fess up about Jinjja that would be the ideal point for Inok do the same once she had time to stomach it. Should it be then truuuue. We will see. Next four episodes gonna be very eventful either way tho hehe
Yeah I noticed that long ago tbh. Should have probably mentioned it then whoops. Also λνλ in its title means…
Hangul is keyboard magic, or rather switching the locale/keyboard layout in windows hehe. I use it more rarely than i should (to practice typing/spelling) bc laaaaazy lol
What if TK and JH are twins and In Ok adopted one?
Just noticed thru it that the correct way to spell Taekyung and Yeondoo would have been indeed Taegyeong (곡νκ²½) and Yeondu (μ€μ°λ), but tbh i am too used to the other way of spelling their names so this looks weird to me. So naaaah XD
Can't actually blame him for this, as he switched into crisis mode immediately, with fear taking over. He was…
exactly. Taekyung's plan was to put distance between YD and his family in moving out, to get her out of the line of fire and secure his own future with her no matter what (family would think of him) because he refuses to live without her anymore.
Our man had the right priorities here and idea, to tackle everything when his own small family is safe from harm. But of course it would have taken time to get it all in order, unless they would have sneak away like thieves in the night was impossible to do in that narrow timeframe. (Kinda wish they would have stayed at the hotel for the time being just so he had time to explain it to her and device a plan with YD, but alas the writer is going at breakneck speed, always xD) Hell so as you said he did not even had time to talk about it with Yeondoo, outside of telling her to not meet his failure of a father. But as we all have seen by then it was already too late. I am still taken aback by the absolutely needless cruelty of this shitbag toward YD shown, and as you said he also blindsided TK with it.
If i were him, i would have a really REALLY hard time to forgive him for this, EVER, even if the ending would not have been as drastic as it was now. (and now even more so, for harming her and endanger Jinjja in this way. Like i would not even look at him anymore, give them all the finger and take my love and move out, never to be seen again. But alas this is not how it works in korean Confucian society lol, nor does it make a good family drama i guess xD)
The nasty look on JHβs face when he told TK about the post on the company employee board should have been a…
Can't actually blame him for this, as he switched into crisis mode immediately, with fear taking over. He was super-rattled by that news because he quickly put two and two together that Patrick knows about it too. Then, as promptly switched into protecting his beloved ones mode, just hours later in fessing up to Patrick CEO at the crack of dawn. All of his actions and thoughts were controlled by emotions, not rationality. Like he acted very fast and maybe too rash but his sense and need to protect YD was greater than any personal consequences suffered or to stop to think about who actually could be behind the message to harm him and YD. He needed to take her out that of the line of fire with that message in the open, this was his first and foremost priority.
He managed to do so for the better part of the day but ultimately failed as we have seen. But also TK really had no time nor the luxury we had watching, to actually sit down and mull it all over calmly and rationally to come to that conclusion tbh.
Oh yeah it definitely has more meanings than the literal one. The real appearing can also mean the real person, the one (to) love comes into your life. As we have seen with Taekyung and Yeondoo π
