i never expected it to be happening in public and on the crosswalk of doom at that, such a staple in kdramaland😬. From my buddy's explanation i thought YD fainting would happen in the company still, maybe in an office or the elevator and someone finding her. Idk i find it happening in public with TK running for his dear life to reach her and yet being too late and instead it is this scum-bag steamin twat catching her much much worse than my initial imagination of that scene tbh.

So yeah, knowing what happens and yet seeing how they frame and actually let the scene happen is very different indeed. I know they gonna be okay but yeah especially TK suffering like that next episode won't be easy to watch. I love that our otp is standing strong tho and TK has now even more so become my ML standard ngl. I don't accept anything less in a kdrama anymore hehe.

Weirdly enough TK protecting/shielding YD from that situation at that point is the only instant of that trope over-usage i am not mad at. I totally understand why. He wanted to put distance between them and the family first before sorting things out. It is also that he is so used to deal with these familial issues on his own bc he was left alone for decades with it that it is like second nature to him and forgets about having someone in his corner.

But all the more of course it his fear of losing her going into overdrive and thus is very protective of her, which we have seen happening, when fuckboi reappeared already. In the long run however he has to learn to not shoulder all the burden on his own and trust his partner to help and support him. Trust that YD can handle and navigate difficult situations with him together instead to take it all up on his own. I have no doubt however he will get there tho with more time and experience as husband and father (to be) bc especially parenting is teamwork. And unlike the rest of his stupid family he possesses the needed emotional intelligence and maturity for that.
