Kind of annoyed that Yeon Doo tattled on Ji Myeong and Hyun Woo about their marriage when she is keeping an even…
Imo this was just foreshadowing what the leads can expect. But since they are actually way more diplomatic and emotionally intelligent to be aware of their wrongdoings I doubt Inok will explode on them as much as she did on sourgrapes couple. It will be more hurtful/personally disappointing as it involves her own son and who she thought her grandchild, for sure. But since YD and TK will be coming clean to her on their own and calmly explaining everything and their reasons for it instead of inok finding out about it and no remorse shown like it happened with sourgrapes, it will be much more quiet disappointment and hurt than raw anger i think.
And I'm sure TK hasn't screwed up for the first time in his life so he most likely knows what to expect from his mother here and how to possibly mitigate the blow. Inok will make them work for her forgiveness, that is for sure.
This has everything you need to know, but it is only updated till episode 20. Since then I think another week and maybe half have passed, so Yeondoo is now 15/16 weeks pregnant. Some women do develop a bump later than other, so it's not impossible. But imo it is also the weirdness of korean drama when it comes to pregnancy, actors playing a pregnant woman rarely are seen with a bump or anything. And always a magic baby time skip is used then later on without ever make them showing. idk why maybe they fear making their leading actress appear 'fat' or something, it is silly. I hope they end up using a fake bump after all even if it were just for a couple of scenes. I mean having granny ask where her belly is means the writers are aware of this after all. So here is hoping ππ
i can now for 200% say that jun ha and se jin will end up together
There will be no redemption arc for insane imp tho and JH already has enough of her sasaeng lvl obsession. Hence I think hr is so gonna turn on her, especially to protect the child he already suspects being the sperms donor of. (refuse to call him father always will bc jinjja's father is TK alone (in all but dna)
Yes, but it fiiiiiiits ππππ I bet he will be at the city hall an hour earlier than they open up even, being the personified LET MEEEE IIIIIN meme and when they do rush in to be first in line so he has everything already filled out and his part signed when Yeondoo and Inok arrive on the dot, bemused. π
Well, it's Kissing Monday, so here we go again with "where are the smooches?"Their first kiss.....Maybe this is…
Tbh I don't think the deadline will matter much anymore if the spoiler trajectory keeps being right. Since all reasons to leave, which outside the paternity and marriage registration lie, are only tenuous anymore thanks to Taekyung stepping up in all ways needed, will be cleared up soon. Especially the two big ones. So that landlady from hell has to soon look elsewhere for a tenant tolerating her nosy bullshit. π (And TK can pay back YD's car repair fee from the beginning of the drama to use it for a very good cause lol)
But I agree that the kiss is very likely hold back for the moment of their full commitment to each other when nothing stands between them anymore and his parents gave their approval after knowing everything. May take a while still due to that but it will be worth it. Especially if the wonderful way the writer handled Taekyung's process toward acceptance of fatherhood is any indication here what he has left in store for them. π₯°
seems to be the case yeah, since he was mentioned once and never again he seems to have no significance for the story. Hell no one seems to even miss him, nor does he get an anniversary day or something, lol. But nice to have a name, at least?
There is speculation in knetz about it due to YD's conception dream at the very start, which is a bunny (twin…
i don't think this qualities as a spoiler tho. It is the most obvious fact ever since this drama begun π Like the opening alone tells you that. The leads BJH and AJH are the only actors who get several sliders for the their characters that show them both taking care of a baby/jinjja ;) (you can see it on netflix, it is so cute with its cartoon style.)
TK is also present for every pivotal pregnancy moment of YD, hell even the the announcement of the pregnancy itself is done to him first since he is mistaken for her husband and father of the child (lol, i see what you did there show) So yeah, not a spoiler :D
I mean in its essence the whole two months deadline is a plot device to not have her leaving when she initially…
i do think the events to follow will lead up to exactly that. As said, maybe inok even makes it to her condition for her approval that they go to the city hall stats, like RIGHT NOW and don't forget your stamps this time, kids :D
Grandma representing us asking YD is she even pregnant cause her belly's not getting any bigger. π€£ I think…
i feel that granny scene is the writer's way of acknowledging the viewer's criticism in the most cheeky way hehe. I would say she starts showing later maybe as there are ppl who only show around five months in depending on some factors. But with kdramas being notorious for forgone the fake belly for magical baby timeskip whenever there is a pregnancy, we can't be sure if we ever get to see BJH getting equipped with such fake baby belly. Oh well we will see. Maybe we should do a gofundme for this one here π
By the end granny will be ready to throw it down with everyone who just looks at the leads wrong, i swear. I should not like her, but it is getting more and more difficult not to bc she is hilarious and cute by now.
Yoomyung and her DW lookalike ex Jay had kissed as well, heh. I do want a lead kiss as much as the next person,…
Exactly. In episode one, Yeondoo is so cheeky/flirty and open with her affections with that trashboi when meeting him in the hotel room before discovering his affair and we have never seen her like this since. And for good reasons. Since that moment it had been just hurt piled on over hurt over more hurt and she is only now slowly unpacking it all thanks to Taekyung's support and love.
Also Taekyung is not stupid, he knows exactly what happened with her ex and thus approaches her slowly, giving her space when needed and time to get comfortable. He is very good in gauging her reactions, then adjust accordingly and prioritize her comfort/feelings. You know, just green flag king things. π₯°
well Jinjja is the titular star of this drama and the one who brought the leads and families so this will thankfully…
I am actually pro choice, but in this particular case Jinjja is crucial to the story and without the kid, the leads would never been together, the families still toxic etc so yeah. And the theme of the show is unconventional families after all, with loving children that are not your blood, so to speak. It shows in the leads, her brother being a single dad, and sourgrapes couple intending to co-parent etc Things like that. Hence an easy fix of getting rid of the kid just to make her pregnant with TK's kid would go completely against this show stands for.
Also TK is poised as Jinjja's father from the get go, he had been there for all the pivotal moments of pregnancy that expecting parents do experience, with next week being the first baby movement, while JH isn't in any way shape or form intended to be more than sperm donor. Like i do think he will leave for the US in the end to be out of their way, and maybe maybe will be the "cool uncle" popping in here and there every few years with gifts for the kid. But story-wise? Totally YD and TK being the parents who raise the child with all its up and downs. TK also will have full parental rights when they register their marriage before birth, so yeah.
lol, i confess it took me DAYS to get through the second episode but now i finally hit the end of it with ML crushing hard and fast on FL and now i am sold. Such a favorite trope of mine, sorry not sorry. π€
So: the main leads signed a "don't kiss" contract??...28 episodes and still no kiss! they hardly sleep together.…
Yoomyung and her DW lookalike ex Jay had kissed as well, heh.
I do want a lead kiss as much as the next person, but it always helps to remember that they are only together for real for, what?, a week?, a week and a half at best, if that. And those 28 episodes happening in a span of around 5-6 weeks, with leads cohabitating for 4 of them. So what seems like the slowest of burn due to the amount of episodes to us, is actually quite fast in the story. And then there is of course YD's reluctance with physical touch/intimacy we already discussed at length here. So story-wise their slow bit by bit approach to get comfortable with each other makes perfect sense, but of course i would love to see them smooching soon. (I do think the writer is sparing that moment for their full commitment tho, heh.)
