well Jinjja is the titular star of this drama and the one who brought the leads and families so this will thankfully never happen. Plus Taekyung is poised to be Jinjja's father from the get go (and it shows in every scene regarding the kid as he is there for all the bonding moments and milestones), not the sperm donor.

The whole fake dating scheme is so harebrained that I almost want to applaud the demons for their utter stupidity. But the writer seems to disagree as he turns the leads into a bit of idiots regarding that tho, just a little bit. Enough to make me annoyed but not get to get hung up on it, since it does not matter in the long run. Hell it does not even matter for the duration of this episode since these abyss spittle are the personified r/LeopardsAteMyFace subreddit. But more to that later, unfortunately.

I am still not sure why YD/TK chose surprise about laughing in their faces tho upon hearing they are “dating.” It will be a missed chance forever, bc this would have off-thrown the hellion creatures way waaaaaay more. “Please keep this a secret” they croon and TK not giving a shit is like yeah whatever. Uff there is the whole spiel about YD finding it weird too but also that she is relieved that they have met due to them and that they probably will leave them more alone now (lol) OH MY SWEET SUMMER CHILDREN. They decide to go home after some playful banter those cuties-

And inane jester with their bullshit plan already is backfiring as they are caught by SJ and her brainless hubby. So they have to continue play pretend couple with them too and thus it is no longer as secret, that lie. Watch as sourgrapes sees them acting as couple and remember….I JUST WANT THEIR AFFAIR UNEARTHED TO RUIN THEM OKAY? Fuckboi asks the couple if TK/YD are really married I think and the most important takeaway is that he does not tell deranged drusilla about having overheard YD. NEXT

Yeondoo gives back the dress to Soojung and she tries to gossip with her new bestie about the demons from the netherworld but YD is like yeah I know whatever and SJ is so disappointed her hottest dispatch scoop is already old news lmao. She also asked how the two have met (how is YD supposed to know lol) but there is really nothing important about this scene.

Inok already has a life crisis about the sourgrapes couple, so I think she will need resuscitation when the leads are going to fess up, jeez. And Inok does definitely treat sourgrapes waaaay harsher than before so here is your preview of what to expect Yeondoo. And YD looks as if she knows lol.

HW thinks about apolady’s words of dating and we have more bullshit between them that could have been avoided if they would just talk to each other but whatever. More cold shoulder from inok for sourgrapes which will be the theme of the episode for her. MOVING ON.

Yoomyung sees her boss get ready for the date with DW and she is not jealous, nope. She is just running out to feed him some lies so he cannot meet boss lady but then is discovered and steals him in running away with him. She faceplants the asphalt and that guy does not even think about helping her up? Wow, real genius here. He treats her wound in best kdrama fashion a bit later at least and boss tries to call both of them but YM is taking his phone even to hang up. I don’t want you to talk/meet with her. And DW asks her if she is an idiot since he does not meet/date women casually. He knows boss is interested in him but he is not so it is not an issue for him. It is a nice scene which shows that YM like her brother TK is way deeper in her feels than the counterpart, they do share some similarities in general regarding love. Both of them never wanted to marry or have kids, both of them needed a certain push to recognize their feelings both were falling first and harder and both will reevaluate their beliefs about marriage and kids since they both will end up raising a child not of their blood due to loving their partner so much they can’t not live without them and ending up loving the kid too, of course. Tho TK is already several steps ahead here with YD of course. As we will see in this episode regarding his development/feelings toward fatherhood, heh.

Speaking of the angel, bc he ain’t no devil, TK gets ready to head home after another long day at work (when will the meretricious day to day storytelling end at last?) but stops to remember taking the talkie belly phone thingie gift with a smile and at home presents it to her “a gift from our colleagues and it is for talking with the child in the womb so it can hear dad’s voice and feel safe.” YD kinda brushes it off and rather gossips about SJ telling her about the demons dating. “Not such a secret after all” TK replies sarcastically hahaha YD finally opens up about how weird it is to see her ex again etc and MY MAN MY SWEET DARLING, he just goes and hugs her. “You must have been so anxious and uncomfortable and kept it all inside. I am sorry.” GREEEN FLAAAAAAG AAAAAW I LOVE HIM SO SO SO MUCH. “I am okay now, lets eat dinner. And he brings the talking device into the room of contemplation, since the leads always go there now when they need a moment alone to think about something lol.

And alone he is a bit later in bed because as he turns and wants to snuggle up to wifey she is no longer there, which erases all thought of sleep for TK and he gets up to see where she is at. Of course she is in the Room Of Contemplation trying out that talking device with Jinjja, feeling silly at first. I may need subs here to get everything but the gist of the talk is that there is just a mother to talk with you, not a father, but there is someone your mother really likes and has so much to thank for, so I would love for you to hear his voice, but since we are bound to part ways, it is better if I don’t introduce him to you. Sorry Jinjja, mom will be with you on her own but don’t worry I will try to live well for you.” And of course Taekyung hears all of it and is in tears, awwww. And so am I :((((((

Fuckboi has a mental fit in his gaudy hotel room and I could not care less for him being unable to puzzle out why YD said she is gonna live on her own when there are no marital probs but ofc suspects of being the father again. Siiiiiigh. I refuse, next.

That scene of DW and DS spacing out while making breakfast would be cute if it didn’t involve snake Hee, so I pass. Jangho and Bongnim are the cutest tho, friendly bickering and awkward flirting like teens in their 50/60’ hehe. Oh god, a banshee arrives and brings food letting herself in DO NOT EAT THIS FOOD. IT GAVE TK INDIGESTION FOR DAYS. RUUUUUN xD I love how no one of the oh family likes her. Common sense hahahaa and SK tells her right away how her food tastes salty and shit I love this kid ahahaha. Banshee drags JH off to talk in his room and he opens up the door a bit to not be misunderstood haha. There is something about their hellspawn but I do not care and then BN comes in with coffee and back in the kitchen she is like “I am glad they are divorced” hahaha

Back to another cutie, it is lunch time in the clinic but TK ain’t feeling eating with his colleagues and stays in the office. Oh it is more of the scene at night from his pov, how it moved and emotionally damaged him to hear her saying she is leaving etc AJH does a good job here in showing TK’s conflict and sadness for being on such different pages with their commitment as his forever is already clear while hers… not so much alas. I am also sad that this photostrip legendary as it is in their history, seems to be the only pictures they have together? Why? They better go on another date and snap some for his phone as bg too :( Anyway it all serves to advance him emotionally to the point where he seriously considers Jinjja as his kid of course and I like his arc and development toward it so much, which of course is accelerated by the personified plot device of JH. And while the leads have few scenes together lately but they are all very meaningful and about strengthening their bond and reassuring each other. I stan.

I am also glad TK has HW to talk about such things but of course he can’t be fully honest. So when he asks HW how it was to see Olive for the first time on a sonogram pic, how he liked it (much?) And I don’t get much of their convo but I think it instills TK with the curiosity to “meet Jinjja” in honest if that makes sense since I don’t think he has really thought about it before and HW’s pov really helped here. Literal baby steps on his way to fatherhood hehe.

Granny does not wanna learn hangul and lol I can understand her, but all whining does fail toward YD. So they learn and idk why but gran is especially cute here even if I am supposed to hate her for all the shit in the past. YD worries about meeting fuckboi at the firm but since he is dating hellspawn it should be okay. Ugh I hate when writers do turn characters into idiots to make scenes happen, but more about that later. She meets first sourgrapes not loverboy then sourgrapes herself and gets to know that Inok knows the full story of fake marriage and such and kinda panics now, whoops. MOVING ON.

Asshole bro is thankful not helpful at all when asks if there are probs between YD/TK by fuckboi bc he goes no probs at all he loves her very much, they love each other so much. And even adds another TK is completely head over heels for and in love with her. Like bro had one job and for once excels in it, bless. No lies needed either. MOVING ON.

YD talks about sourgrapes with Inok and what she knows etc etc etc, I don’t care SKIP And I only feel sorry for the kid in this scene that is growing way too attached to HW already as the grownups should know better. HW does get caught by inok and she thinks he is cheating too. Oh boi, I doubt Inok does get any rest till episode 34 tbh, so she better buckle up for all the bad news abound. TK can look forward to her deep disappointment bc being her son their lies will cut much deeper for her. I don’t doubt she will come around tho as she loves YD and Jinjja either way and knows how much TK loves YD and how happy he is with her. So yeah. It is nice foreshadowing for the things to soon come either way.

Same for manic bullshit fairy waiting for trashboi in front of the hotel room like a jealous ex. She had seen him together with YD and is kinda put off to say the least. As put I am to have to describe this scene with these assholes, but it is one where the leopards starts to eat each others faces, so yeah. Or trouble in Abbadon Abyss. Predictably these two demons start fighting each other bc JH is protective of the kid (after telling YD to abort two times) so he has a very late ephiphany how far this side of insane that deranged dingo actually is and refuses to further cooperate. Yeah he gets a redemption arc while psycho cow goes further down the drain. Which is all in line of the spoiler tea. NEXT

I hate how YD is not honest with TK bc of course he notices her not looking well and checks in, but she brushes him off, uuuuugh. Sourgrapes appears in the annex for another preview of what to expect from Inok for the leads, lmao. We skip that whole conflict with inok here which certainly is very enlightening, but I cannot be bothered anymore as there was SO MUCH of them this episode. Subs to the rescue later on.

Back to things that interest me, which are Yeondoo and Taekyung of course. Here, YD mirrors TK just two eps back in watching him sleep for a moment and it is sweet scenes like that why I love them so, aww. She gets up and into the room of contemplation, bc lots to think about, again. By now she should know however that hubs does not stay asleep with her gone, but she will learn it soon enough, hehe. And aaaaaw I love how he appears right in the moment when she tells her kid to not be sad or hurt. MY GREEN FLAG KING COMES THRU HELL YEAH and he struts in, like a man on a mission to take the fetusfone despite YD first being very skeptic about it.

AT LEAST KISS HIM bc holy hell what an end to an episode, what a symbolic of him bonding with both, reassuring YD bc he noticed how sad she was and makes leaps and bounds in his own development of accepting this path before him. Just in time before the shitstorm arrives in form of many angsty and dramatic spoiler things I know about. But fear not as TK the greenest flag who has ever flagged in kdramaland has proven, HE IS ALL IN. He will be the rock YD needs, staying steadfast through it all.
