yeeees, which is a good sign, actually. She might not be fully aware of it yet but deep down she does not want to leave anymore, tho she feels an obligation to due to the lie and her guilt toward inok in particular. Which is why it is good this will be topic soon heh.
This will go on till September. Waiting........to binge this
or you join the airing jinjja fam and live with us in this comment section while we wait for new eps haha, Bc seems to me like you are too curious about this show to wait till september ;)
YD still said she is raising the kid alone, but unlike some episodes ago, her words/demeanor are not as certain anymore toward real estate lady, and she seems to dread the moment of leaving. Which, yay, progress.
Livestream link for episode 27, starting soon-ish 20 minutes give or take (Here is hoping it won't be as disappointing…
Oh also episode 27 i think is where the chairman stupidity arc starts, or rather continues in earnest. So if we are seeing rumors about YD's kid not being TK's being posted on the fam company website, my drama buddy came thru. It is either this week or next.
Hope we get some good scenes with the leads at least.
Livestream link for episode 27, starting soon-ish 20 minutes give or take (Here is hoping it won't be as disappointing as last saturday, but we have to weather 3-4 more episodes of more aaaaaangst/leads feeling shaken to reach the turning point, mark my words 😏)
Bing told me something different regarding a required DNA test and in the AI overlord i trust, (since goggle is…
Haha I got ya chingu dw. Yeah I'm too damn invested in this show to the point where I chat with an AI about paternity rights in south Korea and this from the pov of TK. I think I'm in too deep indeed lolololol
"this shit would have never happened if you all just stayed with your ass at home."^ This! Not to mention the idiotic…
The leads here are still one of my fave dynamics and relationships in a kdrama even now months later, but yeah the last few eps of the drama were just (too) frustrating to watch due to characters acting unlike themselves for plot reasons honestly. Glad you liked my rambly thoughts tho haha.

well it won't come to this because the most important factor is trashboi gonna stay true to his garbage self and not wanting the legal responsibility or general one for a child. I think he is gonna bow out soon-ish or at the end at the very latest. maybe for once in his life respecting YD's wishes to not be in her way (maybe feeling guilty enough if he is even capable of that idk) Because no matter how you twist and turn it, Taekyung is going to be Jinjja's legal father and the one who is going to raise that child. Maybe when Jin is old enough they can let her decide if she wants to get to know her bio "dad" or not. The fact that TK is poised as the child's father in the story from the get go also means they are going to register their marriage at some point before birth, and we won't see a legal dispute with JH. As you said i don't think that is in the writer's interest or focus.
Plus it is in Taekyung's best interest not only legally regarding Jinjja, but also have the emotional security with the marriage going through that YD won't be up and about and leave just like that one day. That they stay as a family, long term. Especially with JH looming about, which try as he might may always stay a source of insecurity for him to a varying degree. So we can pretty much be sure he is forgetting about his distaste for marriage real quick, i mean those small bits of his belief he maybe hasn't let go yet, that is. In fact, i think it will be ironically him, who is going to "push" for it and wants to rush it along hehe.
Sorry, I don't have other sources than the ones i have given. The AI is AI-ing its answers from across the web i think but not always giving a source for every corresponding sentence formed. Hence it is not just search text it spits out but fitting replies to your questions. Don't ask me how it all works exactly. It is just that i have found for complex questions it works better to use this instead of google.
Bing told me something different regarding a required DNA test and in the AI overlord i trust, (since goggle is…
"Yes, you can report for paternity even if you are not the biological father, but want to raise the child together with the mother whom you are married to¹. This is called **legal paternity** or **presumption of paternity**, which means that you are recognized as the father of the child by law based on your marriage to the mother². However, this legal paternity can be challenged by the biological father or the child within a certain period of time by filing a paternity suit². If the biological father or the child proves that you are not the biological father, you may lose your parental rights and obligations²."
The biological father is no longer in the picture. So is this possible to report myself for paternity, even when i am not married to the mother at the point of birth of the child?.
"No, you cannot report yourself for paternity if you are not the biological father and not married to the mother at the point of birth of the child¹. This is because you do not have a legal or biological relationship with the child¹. However, you can adopt the child with the consent of the mother and the biological father (if known) and become the legal father of the child². Alternatively, you can marry the mother after the birth of the child and report yourself for paternity as a stepfather with the consent of the mother and the biological father (if known)³.
About challenging legal paternity:
The time period to challenge legal paternity in South Korea is **six months** from the date when the person who challenges it becomes aware of the fact that the child is not biologically related to the legal father¹. However, this period cannot exceed **five years** from the date of the child's birth¹. After this period, the legal paternity cannot be challenged by the biological father or the child unless there are special circumstances, such as fraud, coercion, or mistake¹. If the legal paternity is successfully challenged and revoked, you will lose your parental rights and obligations as the legal father¹.
After doing a deep dive on the topic a couple of days ago, I’ve put together a very top-level summary of parental…
Bing told me something different regarding a required DNA test and in the AI overlord i trust, (since goggle is garbage for complex questions like that tbh) 😂
"A DNA test is not required when reporting paternity in South Korea, if you are not married to the mother of the child. However, it can be a helpful proof of relationship if the mother or the child disputes your paternity claim later. You can also voluntarily take a DNA test to confirm your biological relationship with the child before reporting paternity."
So i became TK for a minute in his 3 am websearch 😂 to ask the right questions from his pov. And you are correct that marriage is needed to not having to jump thru 300 hoops to get recognized as the legal father. Adoption is also an option for TK if all fails, but it all requires consent of sperm donor too, so i dunno if that would ever happen. The safest bet is still registering their marriage before birth, but in order for this to take place, some conditions need to be met:
a) TK's parents need to know the truth about Jinjja AND their fake marriage, the whole shebang, so no lies are longer between them (leaving BN out for now bc she is related to Jinjja either way so not as "grave") b) when above is met, Taekyung needs to come to terms with becoming a father and caring for and be responsible for the child for the rest of his life. It is a massive, life-changing decision he has to come to agreement with himself after all doubts are cleared up about it, and that is a process only he can make. c) if the two conditions are met, it still needs them both to agree to share parental duties and thus commit to each other long loooooongterm. No longer moving out nonsense from YD's side bc the real estate office owes her now or something lol. d) Profit... err.. MARRIAGE REGISTRATION. And you can bet that TK will have his stamp ready to go this time 😂 I am sure that Inok will personally drag them there and if needed get some passerby to act as second witness that is needed lolololol
(btw bing also told me that marriage registration papers with its data, aka names, dates etc are not visible/viewable for the public in SK. They are only "stored" locally in the corresponding city hall office.)
Hope we get some good scenes with the leads at least.
trying to find the alternative one buried in this chat if the first does not work, wait a minute. There we go:
