I mean with becoming father he is not yet there, since it is a process of acceptance he has to make and making actively the choice for it, but he will get there of course and end up loving it as much honestly, that is the facts i love about Taekyung most. Imo it isn't about him changing drastically, but him finding the love and acceptance he has yearned for all his life with YD. So he no longer felt the need to pretend to not care, or to be cold and distant as a self-protection mechanism. All this was no longer needed after getting to knowing and loving her, after being accepted just the way he is; a caring, empathic man with so much love to give. YD brings out the best in him indeed, and omg i am not crying you are crying, bc it is so beautiful 😭 I LOVE THEM SO MUUUUUUCH 😭 <3

Plus the fact of his past beliefs and the incredulous :O :O :O reaction of his family regarding him being fussy. head over heels husband (and a most likely even fussier "mother hen" daddy) are and never will fail(ing) to crack me up as well 😂

Also when this drama is over I need a 3 minutes supercut of TK scoffing about marriage and how he NEVER gonna marry and then cutting to him being best, devoted husband to YD and him *sobbing* at the wedding ceremony as he sees his beautiful bride walking toward him down the aisle into my bloodstream, stats. 😂

it was my first family drama too when i started it but by now i have finished another one, so i am more aware of its structure and how it differs from the regular 16 eps kdrama. Bottom line is that watching weekend dramas requires patience since there are always episodes that are more miss than hit and there can be a couple of them. And imo we are at that phase atm with the episodes 25-30 of TRHC. But i heard through the spoiler grapevine that it won't last past that point bc a lot of crucial things happen and get cleared up after that. No breakup either if this is what you are concerned about ;)

If we get to see Jinjja post birth (which i believe will be the last around 5-10 eps about) i want a collection of scenes with him scoffing about ME, A DAD? NEVER and then cutting to TK fussing over/taking care of Jinjja and telling everyone he encounters outside that can't escape him fast enough proudly "LOOK that is my daughter!" (i believe Jinjja will be a girl tbh, will explain later on why.) 😂

Joke asid, it is about time MDL restricts this nonsense for airing shows. Aka not being able to mark it as complete or go over the actually aired episodes count regarding episodes watched for airing shows. It is ridiculous and not in an amusing way. Only distorts the ratings, tbh

If the hug happens in public yeah. Such display of affection is culturally rather unusual and I think ppl are uncomfortable with it. But at least in that episode I can excuse YD, since she was crying the one time and the other he hauled her into his arms suddenly. So her mind needed a moment to catch up and hug back. More than this tho, I honestly would love to see YD being the one who initiates a hug instead of TK only. I bet we would get another brain freeze moment with him like in the yoga studio hahaha.

He said in the script reading interview that he wanted 'to look sharp' as GTK, so 'he lost some weight.' I say that sharpness was definitely achieved. Or rather hotness 😏😁 (and he advertised having a shirtless scene in the first episode and then went shy about it in the next moment awww)

It is a merry go round of delusion, insanity and assholery with these two demon clowns from hell indeed. But we gotta weather the next two to four more annoying middle episodes coming up tho, after that things will improve and the story hit a turning point. You will see 😘

I cannot agree on the whole hellion clown duo being interesting or shippable, they are just one-dimensional, delusional assholes to me (particularly failbarbie) and i want them both gone, but delulu dingo more than JH. However, you do you of course, heh. JH could be redeemable by virtue of having helped created the titular star of the show and as said through possible fam connections, but sasaeng siren is a lost cause. Also by virtue of how much domestic viewers hate her character and are very vocal about it online 🤣

And of course certain things i heard are reeeeeally pointing at them becoming the personified r/LeopardsAteMyFace subreddit 😂 with turning on each other and leaving manic bullshit fairy isolated in her delusions. so pls don't get your hopes up regarding their happy ending, just saying. I actually think trashman is gonna leave toward the USA in the end, maybe working there for the gong fam business (should my theory turn out true) bc after all he never wanted the responsibility for a child, b) has lost all say in it anyway after telling YD to abort TWICE and c) so that YD/TK and their kid can be and grow as a family in peace. Best solution for everyone really.

Twins would be hilarious but unlikely as i am sure Inok would have certainly remembered having another child at some point/at the same time, lol. Even if we go full soap opera here with the plot and say one baby was stolen at birth or some other nonsense, she would have been knowing she was having twins and talked about it before/the loss of a child, or something to that accord. Plus her being a single mother raising Taekyung on her own till her marriage has been a big part of her backstory after all. So all in all half brothers would be way more logical and imo the only feasible option for JH/TK to be related to each other.

It could be that TK's father got around meeting JH's mother, but in the end she maybe also ended up raising JH alone or gave him up, since he was involved in that single mother event (their father must be either dead or the biggest deadbeat then lmao) We will see, best we can hope from their relationship is a begrudging truce either due to being related or bc of Jinjja or maybe even both. Either way i am not having a high opinion of this character to begin with, mildly put, but his fam relations and possible redemption still interest me enough, gotta say. Unlike with deranged dumbo who is just boring af in her delusions and i wish doom upon, whoops 😆

Im just glad the ending was not about trashboi and his clowning for once. Just normal family conflict unrelated to the leads. Kinda missed that, so I'm happy with that sort of cliffhanger haha
