Jinjja is the titular star of the show and who brought the leads and families together so whatever happens rest assured that the kid will be okay.

Taekyung never was a player that is granny's shitty assumption bc he dated women without marriage. However while TK has never been in love before meeting Yeondoo, and kept his prior girlfriends at arm's length emotionally he was committed in those relationships. He never once cheated (he detests infidelity) and treated his partners well. It was just on a more physical level with his ex(es) and he simply lacked the utter and complete emotional attachment to them like he is now experiencing it with Yeondoo. And a lot of it leaves him fumbling in the dark, not knowing what to do with it or how to handle it.

Plus he ain't stupid he has already noticed how reluctant and uncomfortable YD is with physical touch (I blame the fuckboi for it) so he is giving her space and time to go at her own pace to become more comfortable. They are also awkward with each other bc their real relationship is very very new (just a week at most, while knowing each other for a good month at best now) so combined with YD's reluctance for physical touch and TK dealing with a lot of new emotions thru being in love for the first time gives you that awkwardness and lack of intimacy between them thus far. As they are going at it at a very slow pace to get comfortable with each other.

In between the two TK is definitely the more experienced one but he does well in not pressuring her like her shitty ex most likely did. I'm sure we will get a lot more once they both are fully committed to each other instead of that in between thing we have now where YD is always with one foot out of the door. Her personality of being very logical and too much in her head often aside, i do think she is holding herself back to be more affectionate due to that. To not grow too attached etc but failing more and more, which honestly would explain her hot/cold attitude toward him.

Haha I'm looking forward to the results of this messy messy fam tree myself and let's see how much I got right or wrong in my speculation. With family dramas it is safe to always take the most convoluted option in regards of family relations I learned so yeah 😂

@Kathryn_51 It is a fan theory that has been brought up here a couple times and one that I find particularly amusing due to how much they hate each other and how Jinjja would be related with TK then after all if to a lesser degree than bio father obviously. Oh also I don't have anything against the actor he does a fine job but his character is just such a smarmy fuckboi it gives me the creeps. Anyway there is a huge secret made about his bg and when asked about JH's fam in an interview he also replied 'it is a secret' which yeah leaves much room for speculation. We only know he got adopted and his mother, whether adoptive or bio is dead or thought dead since he once said 'I swear by my late mother' soooo together with the secrecy of who is TK's bio father (he was never once mentioned thus far) and family drama tendency to make the messiest family trees, makes you wonder if there is not the possibility of them having the same father. Especially since the show put such emphasis on dressing and styling them similar (especially after JHs return now) and how they have the same taste in car, clothes and woman hahaha. So yeah that is why some of us here think they could be turning up related and absolutely HATING IT. Ngl it would be hilarious 😂

Oh I also think he is going to turn out related to the gongs in one way or the other on top of this, since his fam bg is shrouded in mystery and we are gonna have one of his thought dead parents turn up very much alive and my bet is on the mother for now, since she was mentioned as such and she could be granny's long lost bc thought dead daughter or something since we also know very little of gran's bg thus far. I think the show is keen on giving JH a redemption arc and pulling his fangs in making him related to the fam which business he tries to destroy would be one way to do this. So yeah that's my theory anyhow with a lot of speculation and maybe an Itty bitty truth in it thru spoilers. Not telling which is which tho we gotta wait and see 😆

JH: sperm donor (not father) of jinjja, possible bro of tk, half is most likely since i think inok would have remembered that otherwise lmao
TK: husband of YD, father of jinjja and also possible their uncle hahahaha. Inlaw to the Oh fam.
YD: Mother of Jinjja, wife of TK and bio aunt to SJ's child. Possibly step sister of delulu dingo through marriage of her mother with Jangho, Inlaw to the gongs.
BN: gonna romance Jangho, if it ends up in marriage it is gonna be a mess. So they definitely gonna marry lolololol

she did hug him back both times in sunday's episode but you have to reaaaaaally watch for it to see it. SInce through their huge height differences the camera angles are a bit unfortunate but you see her hands fisted in his shirt around his waist/midsection if you look for it. 😁

i am pretty much certain they will keep their registration for after the lead's reunion as an ultimate sign of their commitment to each other. I just hope TK will come clean to his mother in between doing so, so she can help him reunite with her (since she is such a source of her guilt and all)

Also i hope that we get to see that government official dude with the thousand yard stare again then. He was such a hoot with how jaded he was about his work and the various tricks couple pull to evade registration 😂

I don't think anyone can search/look up personal records of another person unless they are a government official with a cause for it (police etc) or a close fam member. Would be pretty wild if that were possible and intruding on everyone's privacy/personal data. I am sure it is different if there is an official ceremony there is more of a paper, or rather digital trail through photos, invitations etc. but they would not be able to get their hands on official/legal documents or information about it, for that matter.

I'm not certain if they are in SK tho? Since marriage is there a thing between it's families far more than in the west through their family books. So I doubt everyone can see who is married with whom just for the heck of it tbh. And Inok mentioned that they did put YD's name in there, so yeah. at the very least I think one would have to have to officially apply to see the family register and this information also being restricted to either family members or government officials. Would be wild otherwise if everyone can just go there and ask for/look up someone's marriage record.

Yep and instead of waiting for his return to SK begging him to take her back (lmao this only proves he didn't know YD at all) YD had the gall not only to move on quickly from him but even more so to be actually happy. This is the biggest insult to this pissbaby made possible. And with TK at that, someone he hated from the get go bc TK made sure to show him at every turn and every possibility what a pathetic worm he actually is. TK has it all, smarts (JH is still smarting from how TK utterly destroyed him with words alone) , looks, money and status so dungbeetle felt inferior to him by default and is now trying to compensate it in taking back his toy he threw away prior (Yeondoo) and humiliate TK this way in showing he's won in the end. As said he is an actual pissbaby with the emotional maturity of a toddler.

Yeah, baby steps (pun intended) and I hope they will keep the actress in looser clothes at least, going forward. Week 15 is kinda the time where you are supposed to start focusing on gaining weight each week after all. I'm understanding that BJH would not want to gain weight irl seeing how brutal SK is in regards of body image especially towards celebrities, so looser clothes are a good compromise for now. Seeing how integral it is to the plot, I hope we are actually going to see her more pregnant/showing as time moves on, instead of magic time skip as kdrama loves to do. Mask/prosthetic department do your thing pls.
