Exactly. This is what is pissing me off most about her, touting for him to "have a little compassion" when she is unable to even have a minuscule bit for him, whom she claims to love. There is a difference between not being a romantic and grousing about "damn heart emoji's" and outright actively ignoring your partner even when they express the wish to be with you. Like????

She has an open ear and empathy for everyone but it is annoying to her to if he tells her he want to spend a little time with her when he is home. So much that she makes disgusted faces at that, did not even attempt to listen and not even take, idk five minutes to understand and reassure him (all it would have taken is one goddamn hug , not that hard or time-consuming ffs) But nope, instead she goes on insulting him in the way his family always did and did not even apologize after recognizing the cause for it.

I had to laugh at the irony when she gave SJ advice about "how it is just important that you love each other and not that the man is the biological father but that you both raise it well together and be there for each other, GURL ARE YOU HEARING YOURSELF? LIKE WHEN YOU SPEAK?

i love how YLAG has become a synonym for "fucking things up storywise." 😂 Just wish the characters would stop flip flopping so hard with one episode totally in love and the next not even caring if the other person lives or not. Having a clearer line/definition in character and relationships, particularly regarding the leads would make me look at the mandatory bullshit split up with daddy demanding it apparently much more relaxed tbh. Now it is feels a bit (too much) like "hurry hurry no time to lose for establishing defined relationships, we got shit to do and cliche evil duo scheming to bring doom and gloom"- rush hours, ngl. Which yeah, idk. Its pace even feels too fast at times because nothing has really time to develop and take root/room to breathe. So it all stays at the halfway point without ever passing fully over, solidifying. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE, i guess? And i hope i am wrong, but i feel that is getting lost a bit rn. Oh well, we'll see.

Oh i also do understand her Jinjja only has a mother as a way to not only distance herself from shithead but also from TK, since she is deadset on leaving once the deadline is coming up. Hence her rush to bring everything "in order" Maybe she does not want to be a burden on TK, maybe she does not even care this far... who knows at this point with how her character is flip flopping lol. Certain is only we don't even get eight weeks since the writer is rushing things along with ruining everything for the leads after just two weeks of relative peace, and thus leaving too many things half-baked, sigh.

thank you, honestly by now i wish i would write this drama too, lol. Because i am starting to see things that have me quite concerned as a writer, regarding the leads. What i am seeing is we basically get this half-baked thing of in-between romance that is not fully developed with YD swinging from left to right in mood, tone and treatment of TK, and TK starting to keeping everything to himself again, being left on his own by YD and withdrawing (he refused several invitations of HW today) Not to mention YD playing family therapist, caring for and listening to everyone BUT Taekyung who rightfully complained about it, however inaptly he expressed it. She even insulted him which was totally uncalled for and lacking any empathy. She never once sought him out for a clearing talk or reassurance, i feel the emotional work between the two is pretty imbalanced atm. Plus the miscommunication between them is mounting for two episodes now and i have little hope for tomorrow too, despite YD defending him, apparently.

There is also the useless hell duo that adds nothing to the story but is still close to throwing a wrench into the leads half-baked romance before it really can take root. And given how chan sik reacted toward TK today, we probably can look forward to his bullshit self-manipulating arc of him also coming true and I HATE IT HERE. It would not be hard to make it a coherent storyline, REALLY but i fear the writer is about to bungle it all bc of the tendency to rush EVERYTHING. So we are left with a lot of half-baked plot things atm, and none of it is satisfying. Ugh.

TL:DR: I am concerned with the writing taking a real nose-dive very soon.

As LA dramafan said so fittingly, it feels as tho she has two writers taking turns writing her... which is why she comes off so downright bipolar, like her character is super-inconsistent at times, ugh.

Yeah i feel this is where his strong sense of protecting is biting him in the bum. He does not want to do or say anything that could be harming her or cause her stress but my guy has to learn to trust her abilities more, that she, in fact, can handle it. He is not communicating well for the last two episodes and we see that it only makes him miserable. Someone with a high empathy like him has to share the burden instead to take it on all by himself, or he is gonna end up suffocating under it.

Plus honesty could help to figure out how to approach the situation instead of either of them making shit up as they go, alone. (They had this sort of situation/done this approach a couple episodes and it led to both being miserable. And this is another episode where want to take them both at their shoulders and shake them while yelling TALK TO EACH OTHER!!! I really thought we were past this nonsense by now, but naaaaaah 💀
