what even gets me more (read: makes me angry) is him dismissing what little pocket of self she has dared to create for herself so very easily, because she has always sacrificed herself for the sake of her family thus far and will, no *should* continue to do so all her life. Lmao if we all would have known that it takes one (1) magic truck kun 🚚 to manifest their happy ending, it should have hit them six episodes minimum earlier. Would have spared us a lot of annoying crying, FL running away and "we can't be together" wangsting. But somehow i gotta respect the commitment to HAPPY ENDING NOW the writers had without even bothering to explain how 😂. Gotta love the handwave magic, lol. Overall, idk man. I feel the story would have been good in more talented script hands and shortened to 12 eps at most.

SFL was the most crazy pathetic delulu witch ever in kdramaland ever. Gotta be an achievement somewhere. Normally i LOVE Rowoon but i really could not have cared less for his bum of an useless character and supposed love story with FL's bestie. The leads were cute together, at least. Truck kun could have dried their tears much earlier before it devolved into such a melodramatic nonsense marathon. The only time i cried and was really heartbroken was when ML's cute brother was sick and dying, otherwise it was more eye-roll inducing than sad. Actors did a great job, i blame the writers for just phoning it in since eps 9 or so lmao. What a trip with a bit of wtf did i just watch mixed in, but hey thank gawd the ff-button exists. With it it was watchable, but would only recommend with its liberal use and if you are truly out of other kdrama options or a hardcore LSK fan (her singing<3) a generous 7/10

I feel this drama and especially the second half could have been much better if it had 12 eps instead of 16 and FL a modicum of a backbone. Because this would have cut out a looooot of the circular wangsting and dragging of the same old conflict. There is a lot of good here, but sadly it is buried under lazy writing, cliches and characters becoming plot-dumb to elongate everything to 16 eps with all might. Super annoyed by Mika by now and i think for once the "weak female lead" tag on MDL is super-justified, bc she keeps lying and running away instead of facing her problems ONCE. BRB, upvoting the tag.

ML needs a restraining order for and personal security from the delulu queen herself who unbelievably keeps regressing into her obsession. It is beyond creepy by now bc that is the kind of psychopath woman who is gonna murderstab you in your sleep and wear your skin to "keep you close" and "no one else can have you" Yikes. It is the worst written female character i have seen in a drama for a long time. Total caricature of an obsessive (one-sided) lover who ignores everything ML says, especially (by now) his SIX rejections.

Jesus fuck, sfl is not only manipulative af, she is also stalking and obsessing over ML like an evil ex in the worst family drama. Only difference is, they never were in a relationship, he already called quits on their arranged marriage and yet she is acting like I AM GOING TO MARRY THIS MAN! GTFO you insecure delusional pissbaby, he is not gonna f... you.

I also hate the trope of a character deciding what is best for the other without even letting them know about the decision, least of all have a say in it, with the fire of thousand suns. Or as we know it: Noble Idiocy. Dear god i have to suffer thru this now with FL for how many episodes? I get why she stays away from him, but damn talk to him and TELL HIM, gurl 🙄🙄🙄🙄
