I mean i appreciate that i can flex/practice my korean skills with watching it RAW but why are there no subs yet (outside of prime / on alternative sites) Really annoying because this has grown into the one drama i look forward most atm.

Another romcom that the writers decided to destroy sadly fullyThe story had potentialThe leads and the cast were…
Yuuup, couldn't agree more. A more experienced writer could have done more with the initial plot and ideas that shone through but were never followed to the end. Overall a lackluster execution, writing-wise.

Anyway, see you in the next one, friendo 👋

Only watched 1 episode so far and this didn't draw me in, so looking for others opinions...If you loved it, why…
Worth to watch for the main leads and their cuteness + everything ML in general, but the rest is skippable. FL's bestie is another high point of the drama.

I had this drama on an 8,0 rating for the longest time but i shaved off a whole point due to my severe hatred for any kind of noble idiocy, and they really milked that shit in the last two episodes for absolutely no reason other than padding runtime. Yeah no.

As said before i loved the main couple a lot, but the whole noble idiocy shtick and sudden out of character lack of communication of them both for the sake of ~~aaaaangst~~ soured me a bit on them in the end. I detest when characters are degraded to author's puppets that look and sound like them but behave completely out of character that had been established before just because the writer conforms them into their *plot* at all cost. Still a simp for Jung Jiho and always will be haha. This cute, wholesome, earnest man deserves the woooooorld <3 And on that note i am looking forward to see Go Kyung Pyo in his other and more works because he definitely was the highlight of this drama.

AND NOW GO WATCH CHICAGO TYPEWRITER YALL.

Nope! They’re just friends
which tbh, is also better because that boi does not need a loveline but years of intense therapy counseling instead. Would not be fair to load off his myriad issues onto a partner tbh.

I don't hate sfl. In my opinion she felt real. Much much better than fantasy ml, sml characters who doesn't exist…
Sorry not sorry but SFL rubs me in all the wrong ways, she feels so fake to me tbh. Not to mention she disregards all definitions of boundaries, which is red-flaggy in itself. And while i love the ML in this drama and the history of the lead's friendship in the flashbacks, the direction and plot feels arbitrary atm as if it won't go anywhere. Kinda like walking on the spot only instead of moving forward. There is little to no development to the point of complete regression between the leads for four episodes now and tbh, the relationship dynamic and development of the leads is why i watch romcom dramas in the first place, Not for a pathetic/desperate SFL whining and guilt tripping her way into ML's heart, nor for a super passive stone-faced FL's being an asshole to her friend of 20 years, or asshole SML's (i gonna throw something if this creep returns ngl) and neither for asshole secondary characters ( Choi Ri) in general. This drama has assholes galore atm lol and not enough likable characters to watch it when it airs. At least for me.

I think this is also a show better to be "binged" than watched on week to week basis, since it is easy to skip the more/too many frustrating parts of it then and getting a good conclusion to the story (if there is any) at once. So i guess it is best (for me) to either return to the drama later or ending up to drop it. Depends on how it goes in the next few weeks, that is.
On Love Is for Suckers Nov 10, 2022
This seems to be a strong candidate for my on hold list atm... In order to see how the develops and ends up before I invest any more time into it. Since I *always* watch dramas for the leads and am mildly interested in the side characters at best, and dislike the SFL here who seems to get strongly featured now on top of that, I doubt I will have a good time with it. At least for now.

Pity because it started strong but episode 4 with her preparing to marry her shitty ex in a flash gave me bad vibes and whiplash already, before the next two episodes got my hopes up again. Since then though is watching the drama more an exercise in frustration than entertaining, alas.

Ep 5: what is that last scene about? Hahaha... unless they ended up drinking at her place, lol!
When you rewatch the scene (and you can bet i did 🤣) you see that they are both wearing the same and all the clothes from the last evening. So they only fell asleep together and the drama is trolling us/them hehe.
On Love in Contract Nov 10, 2022
Also seeing Jiho devastated and crying is the equivalence of accidentally kicking a googly eyed, fluffy puppy that adores you. TAKE IT BACK I DIDN'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN 😭
Replying to Kathryn_51 Nov 10, 2022
Perhaps the question is - did they ever have any sort of ceremony? If I understand Korean law correctly, a "marriage"…
Indeed, ugh. And we will get it, don't worry, given the set pictures of GKP and the preview. But i hate this narrative nonsense nonetheless so briefly before it ends. It is just angst for the angst sake, no impact no stakes just whining and useless suffering ugh.

I mean in fnos it was legit about life and death so I wouldn't blame him that much😂
Haha, truuuuuuuue. It also served to mirror a scene we have seen before, to say it spoiler free lol. And still (I just rewatched this bit) all things involved and considered was it ten minutes tops of that. Including her confronting him to rid him of this notion. I will always will love her "If you die, then what? Am I to say... "Of course. we're no longer a couple, so why would I care whether he dies or not?" Am I to simply shrug it off and move on?" dialogue ....because it SHOWCASES so well (to him and the viewers) how stupid this trope is hahahhahaaha.

I can only hope SangHo solve it equally as quickly and not draw it out till the last 20-10 minutes. And this all with less peril danger involved to begin with lol.

Me, whenever Dong Joo and Tae Hae are together on screen:https://youtu.be/TFYkto11Qw8?t=48They are the cutest,…
And i knew there was going to be her hands being "dirty" brought up again and this time Tae Hae stood up for her. Yay. Plus him taking her hand to get her out of there, ensuring she holds on to him tightly when driving home together (which certainly was a win win for him, lbr, lmao ) and then telling her how her hands are pretty, aaaaaaawwww, what a cutie.

Now I hope the drama puts extra focus on him holding her hand in all the different ways when they are dating 🥺

They are the cutest, omg and make me giggle like a schoolgirl. Especially Tae Hae whom you could literally watch catching more and more feelings for her with every minute passing🥺💕 ML's falling hard and first/fast but only realizing it gradually is another point on my beloved trope list that this drama checks, bless.

Lmao this reminds me of the breakup in From Now On Showtime which happened in episode 16. Difference is FL there was like NOOOOOPE toward ML's noble idiocy outburst, and thus cured him from this notion in five minutes tops. Hence it was more a lampshade toward the shitty noble idiocy trope than anything.

Here, though? What a needless stupid plot device to pad the story to its end. I knooooow it has an happy ending due to the wedding set photos GKP took on his last shoot but still... i cannot roll my eyes back any further into my back due to this shit. I hate this trope with the fire of thousand suns.

Today episode is good but very slow paced.
Yeah i heard, which is why it is probably best to leave it until tomorrow, together with the other one, then ;)

Glad to find someone who finds their scenes annoying. To me the SFL seems like someone who fakes being nice and…
Same here, tbh, As I used to say, she is the type of person who smiles at you but strangles you in your sleep to get you out of her way.
Replying to bloomingtide Nov 9, 2022
Catching up and it cracks me up how the writers have dialed the "leads meeting by chance" trope up to eleven,…
Episode 4, maaaaan. Why must the drama hurt me this way? 😭 So so well done too, very meaningful and tragic. For a short time it also looked as if the loveline tanked (I mean who would NOT think her being nuts when seeing her like that hahaha) but with the way FL ALWAYS gets under ML's skin, in a good or bad way? Naaaah, this ship is so sailing *blares ship horn* 😏
