Your question seems to imply romance makes this not wholesome, lol?
Yeah, that is gross then, tbh. I love and green flag him since it is sadly still a rarity to have a ML/male main char who is as kind and genuine as Junho is. I simply appreciate the non-toxicity of his character, with a sound pov on things, in tune with his emotions and loving as wholeheartedly <3

Imo, they did well with him and to stay away from that in the narrative. His development is more subtle over the episodes, but there, as he goes from passivity to action regarding YW. Hell, in a later eps *spoiler stop reading here if you don't wanna know*
...one of his friends told him "how it is not love but pity" and he fought him, hands on and furious.

Well, prepare for disappointment then, given that is exactly the intent of including the romance. Given that too many people think that ppl on the spectrum are unfeeling robots incapable of loving someone/emotions in general, it is also a much needed one, tbh.
Outside the dramas on this list i am also watching and quite enjoying "Chicago Typewriter", "It is okay to be not okay", "Big Mouth", "Today's Webtoon" and "Poong TJP" right now. EAW is my absolute fave rn, tho.
So when will Woo Young Woo's brother show up? Because he was mentioned so many times but he's never shown. That…
i don't think her supposed brother has a significance for this story, other than to show that taesumi has another kid. And he was just mentioned two times in total anyway, so yeah. Given with how the story went, i doubt there will be a happy family reunion at all, bc TS only wants to get rid off youngwoo, nothing more. Fuck her.
I loved the first 6 episodes. then 7 and 8 case wasn't that for me. what abt cases after that??
Can't relate as 7 and 8 has some very pivotal moments for youngwoo and the plot in general. Aka the whole story with Taesumi is revealed so we get the full picture, and they meet up to talk about it. Plus much development in the romance department. I love these both episodes tbh
Tho i will also watch CM when it gets published on my countries' netflix and slot it in for a slow-watch with the two episodes per week they'll post. I feel this show is best enjoyed in small doses.
Can my daughter watch this (3 years old)? Does it have scary scenes at all?
Pls show them age-appropriate content instead. If this is about immersing them in the language, there are korean kids cartoons on youtube that are much better suited for them than a 15+ age rated drama
I just came back to the comments to read theories and see alot of ppl saying they dropped or almost dropped this…
Lmao, this has bugged me since forever tbh. Like you do you, but personally i think dropping a drama after or worse even in the middle of the first episode is so damn pointless, independent of what drama it is. Because you have not seen shit at this point, not of the characters, the plot or anything. "B-but the FL/xy is annoyi.... shhhht have you heard of that thing called character development?" Of course characters are not at their best self in the first episode, because they are being just introduced to the viewer, and there are about 15 more episodes to go, lol. If they were, there would be no need for a story to tell, after all. But yeah, in general one episode is definitely not enough to judge the quality or content of a drama, imo.
Personally i give a drama time till inclusive episode 4 since i am aware that some shows start slower and need time to find their rhythm first. If it is still not to my liking then, i will drop it or put it on hold then. It is certainly up to everyone's choice to drop a drama after one episode only, but i will never understand it, haha.
aww my babies in your profi-pict can't get over....that drama! man...did you ever watch the one Seo In Suk I never…
Yeees, i still rewatch an episode or two from time to time and love it as much. Will always love FNOS tbh, like Vincenzo or Mr. Queen. And Chaseul will remain as one of my all time fave kdrama pairings as well <3
I haven't continue watching CM thus far, but now where i have a little more distance to FNOS, i may pick it up on netflix as it is only slowly posting the episodes there. And I think two episodes per week of that drama is okay and well-watchable. Never will be FNOS but it might be fun, maybe. We will see. I really enjoy Poong the joseon psychiatrist (good mix of comedy, medical, healing and romance drama with kim min jae as ML. Very overlooked alas) and Big Mouth from the new batch of shows atm.
Yup, they put so much work in every little detail of her "transformation", even killed off the poor people who knew her before and in the end it will amount to fuck all. 😂
If you mean So-i, I agree - Over 4 episodes and she still hasn't been revealed to her family (although I assume…
Yup. It feels like a Wile E. Coyote plan in roadrunner; super elaborate planning of a scheme that is way too convoluted and as comical as in the classic cartoon. (not to mention that i expect it to be foiled as easily as roadrunner or bugs bunny (songrim represents in this analogy) does, seeing they already suspect her lmao)
"if one era needs a psychologist (or ten)" Wahaha ain't that the truth 😓 Agree with you this feels like a nice…
Yeah it does what it is does well so far with a good balance of genres and lovely characters, and i am sad how under the radar it flies for everyone due to the big popular dramas hogging all attention.
(The synopsis is kinda weird and imo unappealingly worded/written here too on MDL, the viki one is much better and consise, but since there is a stupid rule how a MDL'er written synopsis rules supreme over any other, no matter what, my edit request got rejected lmao)
Finally watched the two episodes and i am still crying over the swing scene. So beautiful😭😭 I really like how they depict trauma and its disparate forms, because for every person the experience is different. The ship is sailing fast and i don't mind in the slightest😏 Definitely dig the combination of historical, medical and healing drama bc if one era needs a psychologist (or ten) it is the hellhole that was the Joseon Era, haha. But yeah, happy to report KMJ never disappoints (and i truly like KHG's acting a lot too thus far. She is very expressive <3 )
