ngl, i only watch it for Yeo Jin Goo, who always impressed me with his acting so far. I would not have touched it were it another ML. And expected he is perfect in this as well. It is such a joy to see him in a light, romantic role for a change after i have watched TCC and Hotel Del Luna with him. He does comedy so well too and is simply too adorable as the supportive robot bf. This drama is a good warm up watch for his new, upcoming rom com tbh.

Ohhh, it would be yet another diverse role to let his acting range shine. He is such a good good actor, so i am here for this. Ever since i saw Mr. Queen first half a year ago, he has become my fave actor, along with SHS, and I miss seeing him on-screen. So i hope to see him back for good. 김정현이 파이팅 <3 <3 <3

Probs bc he is, um, not the most socially adept person, to say it nicely xD He is good at acting, but as soon there is no script he is an awkward bumblebee who doesn't think too hard in general and about his fellow peers and as such stumbles from one blunder to the next socially. Tho that is changing now, if slowly, thanks to his manager and his feelings for HB he is reflecting on his past mishaps and tries to do better. With the operation word being on trying 🤣

HB also liked TS at first sight as she said "oh that was embarrassing but he was so handsome" with a smile when leaving the cinema and later on she is all O_O when meeting him again at college. Sadly they both are the idiots in love trope personified, so nothing came out of it. Especially not after TS's huuuge blunder with the fake dating with which he basically killed all possibility of romance... till now, many years later, that is.

Good point, actually. Maybe it is that, tho the exhaustion could also be from drama shooting which irl is very taxing on the actors IRL, especially leading actors. And seeing how the kiss scene aired not much later it is not shot in advance either which means to be at call for returning to set. Thus the fever also could stem from stress, he had been thru much that day, poor boi. But we will see.

It still can be to another degree when it is unplanned as it is here, the person has planned a different path in life, has a bad financial situation, wants to focus on career etc. Not all ppl want to have children for various valid reasons, not to forget. It is a huge responsibility and life-altering decision/event to have children, independent of the person's age tbh. So i don't find it out of place at all, despite them having aged the FL up in the drama.

I miss the sarcastic, all-knowing narrator most, tbh.

That is fine, however they aged the character up so it ain't 24 yrs old Jane in this drama anymore, but 31 years old Woori. So the actress it is neither too old nor unsuited for the role. Besides that argument always reeks a bit of ageism, zoned in on the female actress only when ML and most of the male cast is also 30+ years old. You gotta remember that it is an adaptation of the source-material, not a 1:1 remake. So while you are not forced to like it, the liberties taken within are fully in their rights.

I love that in both of my favorite airing shows (Sh**tting Stars and FNOS) the ML are outwardly put well together, rich and handsome but awkward, bumbling walking disasters when they stand in front of the woman they like. Men who operate on one braincell outside their field of expertise and do not know how to flirt for their life. Both ML's are dumb big but adorable babies and so unabashed (or obliviously) in love with their FL. i love them, since they are the perfect foil to the standard suave, rich chaeboi kdrama male leads. Much more interesting and entertaining too

Preview was interesting in the way that GTS assured OBH that he was REALLY REALLY serious with liking her and his confession which she doubted naturally. So i think we get even more development next week. They are total idiots in love however🤣

Han Byeol is reeeeeally affected by the confession, veering between zombie mode and nervous breakdown at work. Tries her best to avoid Taesung in whatever ways possible. Like she is a bit awkward with Lawyer but she can still treat him normally at work bc his confession did not suckerpunch her nearly as much. As far i understood he uses that fact as gotcha against Taesung who in turn desperately waits for her calling/texting him but is ghosted. Like GTS is switching to zombie mode himself at home staring at his phone. PM (personal manager) then proves the functionality of his phone to him, which he previous doubted in his most GTS way xD

In between we get quite a bit of backstory bits between the two- first meeting is shown again and when he sees her again at college. Boy was whipped from the start, but it is a bad case of IDIOTS IN LOVE so nothing came out of it as we know. At this point i doubt our boy has dated at all with how possibly awkward/bumbling and self-manipulating (always saying the wrong things) he is when liking someone. Or maybe it is just bc it is OHB xD.

There is a callback to the epilogue scene of episode 6 and as i said it is not as seemed. Bc Doofus just said the wrong thing and it blew up to the point where he couldn't get out of it anymore. Tho i admit here my korean was failing me, so i missed a lot of the finer details as to how or why. But fact is GTS is beating himself up over appearing to have dated that actress and especially telling OHB so over the phone. All a matter of a big miscommunication/misunderstanding afaik. I need to rewatch this scene (with subs) for the whole picture so take it with a grain of salt. (That couple photoshoot of them OHB had to supervise was heartbreaking tho).

She had her walls built sky-high around herself after being hurt in this way tho you see glimpses of her still harboring feelings for him. Her hostility is like a defense mechanism, plus her staunch belief that GTS would never like her anyway (which he sucessfully shattered now) Like she cannot watch the kiss scene shot on the set between the leads and his confession affects her in a way that she stops functioning at work/home, as she is spacing out etc.

I always zone out when he is onscreen bc i find lawyer really bland but i think he tried to ask her out, but she wasn't receptive so he backed off a little. We see them meeting in the preview so i think a date between them is still happening? I missed a few scenes so my chin was on the floor when i saw how GTS stood all dressed up in front of a nice evening scenery, nervously waiting and it seems he is stood up, but at the last moment OHB appears to a date? and episode ends. I am confused and need to rewatch, but that is the gist of it all lol. Sorry for my long ramble lol, but i loved it. A really good episode with some things cleared up and new problems created. Never a dull moment tbh 🤣
