Also i feel like facepalming that it took me 10 episodes to recognize that the baddie of the drama is Na In Woo from Mr. Queen lol.

Such a good, well-written show. I especially loved the FL, she was so multifaceted and layered. Brazen, loud and cold at first glance but warm and empathic underneath, and like the FL in Hotel Del Luna very much shaped, influenced and hurt by her past. I really loved the way how the drama peeled back the layers not only of her character more and more with each episode but also her backstory, which is more intertwined with her two collegues than inially thought. And the (tragic) love story told did add to the plot instead to defer from it. Like with Hotel Del Luna i very much my time with it. While it was sad, it also had heart and humor and the bond between the three characters is simply beautiful and well done.

Oh, I see. Well seems comedy is his forte then hehe. He seems to have fun in this role too, maybe bc he is allowed to let loose as this character? Like his micro-expressions are all on point, but especially his bulging eyes when he is angry or jealous never fails to crack me up. It is like a sign of trouble (for Han Byoel in particular) when he starts to stare like this🤣It is a really adorable and amusing character quirk hahaha.

I have only seen him in extraordinary you and in there, he was like Rowoon bound by the character that acted script-like and a bit "monotone" due to the nature of the story. I feel this drama does give him much more freedom to emote and possibility for "full range acting" without these character-based restrictions (same for Rowoon in Tomorrow, tbh) and it really shows. He truly nails the duality of a tsundere puppy in love and petty actor diva who turns it into something charming instead of annoying. Not a small feat tbh.

It is a clever almagan of shooting star and shitting star, since the korean word for "shooting star" is a compound word out of "Star, poop star" (별똥별 = byoel, ttung, byoel)

Plus the PR team does clean up the shit the stars produce, which you also see FL doing in her comic self at the end of the credit/title screen. So it is really an apt title😎

Yeah i feel there is a lot more to that story. Feels like the typical idiots in love trope (aka protecting her from the public, not thinking she had feelings for him and the other way around while both had a crush on each other they did not realize or too late. Hence IDIOTS in love lmao)

You must not have a pet, because i bawled like a baby at the dog with only little time left who didn't want to become a burden. I also talk to my pets/cat so i didn't find it ridiculous at all tbh

There is no romance, just hints at a past connection (maybe lovers) between them. The drama has not revealed their full story yet, so we do not know what they were to each other in their previous lives. They do share some ambiguous, lingering looks whenever they meet/talk and have good chemistry (imo) but there is nothing beyond that in the drama.

She just caught feels for cha cha Wong (like her spacing out tells a lot lol) but him being so prickly and distant due to his own denial of feels for her does not make it easy to anything further to happen. Hence Sml is more approachable atm not to mention he is feeling territorial toward Cha Wong all the sudden. I expect episode 6 to bring more development as Wong finally called himself her partner heh. Their chemistry however is sizzling either way 🤩

Well, the drama is not focused on them only, but several characters having their own story in the entertainment industry. It is more a slice of life/work drama with added romcom than the other way around. Took me a while to warm up to the show but i now love the concept and sidestories of the drama. If it were focused on the romance only it would get stale quickly, imo. Guess you expected a classic romcom instead which explains your disappoinment?

Yeah the character of Taesung could be so annoying but Kim Young Dae manages to make him charming thru absolutely nailing the duality of petty celebrity diva and whipped (but oblivious) puppy in love. Like the way he always looked at her for a reaction at the set after a shot scene or during the drama airing premiere is too damn adorable 😆❤️

Same, he is like an unruly puppy who searches for her in the crowd and then goes to pee at her leg to mess with her 🤣 And I also love how they are popping out each time when he is jealous/angry hahaha. I think KJD is doing a wonderful job so far to portray this petty diva and the comedy within 😆

Nah, me neither. I am 99,5% always in the ML/FL shipping camp and while lawyer is cute I see no reason to change that in this drama. Plus it seems very onesided with FL's admittance of having little interest in him outside work. With GTS there is history there, however and dormant/suppressed feelings. I think regarding the epilogue there is more to that story than currently meets the eye. It reeks a lot of the idiots in love trope, tbh. And never forget that misunderstandings are the no.1 staple of kdramas after all, lol. So yeah😁
