It's a play on words. If you run the Korean title through google translate it's "shooting stars" (grain of salt…
Yup, it is :D

Heh, it is all explained in the plot and as you watch more layers of her backstory etc are peeled back and how the romance can develop in spite. Just go with the flow of the drama and enjoy the ride, you will see 😎 So worth it, tbh. They are just so wonderfully chaotic together xD

Yeah it is a korean compound word made out of star poop star, hence shooting star, or shitting star. Implies also that they have to deal with the shit the stars produce. A rather clever title tbh xD

When you use another country's name, especially in a way where it portrays them in a negative light, do some research.

Holy shit this just finished, I'm watching ASAP. Unfortunately I'll have to watch on Kisskh, Netflix pull your…
If you like quirky characters, humor and well done character and enemies to lovers progression in a genre mix like CL, definitely Mr. Queen. Has more politicky scheming bc sageuk but it never feels dry/draggy also thanks to sizzling chemistry between and the stellar acting of the leads. (I mean it has Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun as leads how could the acting ever be bad 😎)

In terms of wacky humor in a rapid fired way, Eulachacha Waikiki (know the gwenchana gwenchana clip with the broke-ass car? Yup, this is the drama lol) Regarding currently airing ones From Now Showtime and Sh**ting Stars come close humor/dynamic-wise.

I’ve watched both and tbh, I loved Crazy Love a lot more than HPL. To each his own I guess.
Yeah to each their own but saaaaame, The romance in HPL was cute but tbh, too drawn out and i was bored out of my mind for most of the time, ffw most of it especially the late stage makjang that was thrown in for the heck of it. Prefer the steady character development, dark humor and mystery of CL tbh.

Then again i noticed that i don't like most of the popular/highly rated dramas on MDL ( 2521 (just okay-ish), W-two worlds, kill me heal me, HPL, oh my venus, touch your heart, suspicious partners, lovers of the red sky... to name a few), while i love some that are more universally called meh here (most fusion sageuks, romance is a bonus book, doom at your service etc) so yeah xD

Any breakups?
Nope, as this is not your typical romcom. ML/FL are very good in communicating openly with each other once they have committed to their relationship. Thus misunderstandings arising are cleared quickly and do not linger to create nonsensical drama.

I first saw LMK in Because it’s my first life and then in The Beauty Inside… never would’ve imagine him…
I am glad he gets to play a different role in this drama as the characters in TBI and BTIMFL were pretty similar (very serious/stern, taciturn, dry humor, emotionally guarded with a hidden softer side etc) Here, with that character it is all on the table, so to speak, and i quite enjoy seeing a disparate range and side of his acting.

I haven't been watching any other show apart from CL and AML at the moment, still need to catch up on 2 episodes…
Ah gotcha, good to know and that i waited then heh. I am definitely interested in watching it so yeah, gotta catch up before the second season airs. Take care and see ya around here on MDL <3

Again with the people rating a drama low after it just started? Enough with the same thing that happened to “Crazy…
I had to take a double take at the ratings here as it was NOT the case when it aired. Those fucking clowns of MDL never change, Is2g 😓

i was waiting for yumi cell 2 to have an air date and i want catch up on YC1 before YC2 then starts airing, since i heard the ending of part one is not really satisfactory/sad?

I'm still pissed that the rating did not reach 8.5 and above :\ The story and acting deserved so much better.…
many ppl wait till a drama finished airing until they start watching it so i expect the rating to further shift in the near future (did so for FLAW, as it went way down, lol. Here i expect an increase actually)

i don't know why but i always find the last 2 or so episodes not it when I'm watching airing dramas. (e.g. A Business…
Yeah my cynic and petty self cant relate with so much easy forgiveness haha, They were really tying a big bow around its ending and really everyone got one, if deserved or not. But overall i didn't mind it much tbh, as it was ultimately a story of healing and that includes the ability to forgive and move on... even if it was portrayed a bit too, well, generously lol

My like-minded Crazy Lover folks here! *cues Captain America’s voice* “Assemble!”What dramas are you watching/planning…
The ongoing dramas I currently watch, well keep me busy a lot are:

- Tomorrow (If you liked mystic pop up bar you will like that if you can stomach the serious topics/social commentary. They are mixed with moments of levity/comedy and friendship/bromance between the leads that tonally works not for everyone, but it does for me. Rowoon is so so good in his role and i like his empathic, warm-hearted if impulsive character a lot. For me the heart and soul of the show. FL is great too)

- Again my life (sort of a more serious fantasy vicenzo like drama with a smart male lead. I like it but i keep falling behind with the eps as it is not high on my priority list lol)

- From now showtime (I love the chaotic energy this drama has, genuinely funny with a cynic ml/enthusiastic fl who already bicker like married lol. Two episodes in and they already teasing the romance quite a bit haha)

- Sh**ting stars (I love exes back to lovers and this seems similar to OBS in this regard, plus they made FL very competent and the insight into the entertainment industry is a great, interesting setting. Plus actor ML is obv still deep in feels which makes the pettiness of him toward FL all the more amusing (they equally dish out at each other tho) .. Buuuuuut there are moments of ultimate cringe in the starting eps (the whole portrait/lazy backdrop of AFRIKA as a impovered COUNTRY etc) so i am mildly side-eyeing it for now tbh)

- love all play (sport focused drama tho all the more about the ppl playing the sport, nice eventual friends to lovers, love how cheeky ml is with fl, it feels like them being old friends)

- my liberation note (it is a slow melancholic character focused slice of life drama. I am not too far into this show but outside its very sloooow pace that makes me put it on 1,5-2x speed for most of the time xD it still definitely has peaks my interest. Especially the budding romance/journey of mutual healing, and is relatable to my introvert self haha)

Also watching "While You Were Sleeping" and "Mystic Pop Up Bar" as two of older, catch up on drama series from my watchlist rn (something about the 1% and When the camilla blooms are next after that)

This is the first time and drama that I am commenting on, I am feeling so sentimental now. I JUST CRIED DURING…
I love this, well said! Maybe post it as review so it does not get lost in the ccmment section?

at any point during this drama does the plot go beyond them saving each other repeatedly?
Halfway through i can say with confidence... no xD But it has its own charm due to that haha. I really like the support and comfort they give each other even before "officially" dating.

The drama does really tie a neat bow around it all to the point where it is too forgiving to all its characters tbh. But maybe that is just the jadedness and saltiness speaking out of me, as i would have not forgiven everyone as easily as NJG did😂 Anyway, i love me some cute domestic bliss scenes to close out the drama and found it rather fitting as they have been already married in spirit for a long timehaha.

I lack the time to rewatch dramas as there is too much i still wanna catch up on, buuuut after i did so with mr.queen, i will definitely rewatch this one in half a year or so. What a great journey of healing, character development and fabulously done progression from enemies to the healthiest, loving and communicative couple i have seen for a long time in dramaland. And like Mr. Queen and Vicenzo, Crazy Love excels in mixing/blending different genres effortlessly, and that with a healthy dose of quirky self awareness and subverting tropes and expectations.

Before the end of this show - which has become an obsession for me (and others here???), I would be interested…
Definitely watch Mr. Queen. It is the most logical follow up to CL as it does genre mixing and enemies to lovers equally well, if not even a bit better. It is available on viki if you want a legal source. Otherwise drama cool etc.

Another faves of mine are :
-Dali and the cocky Prince
-Our beloved summer, - Thirty But Seventeen
- Angel last mission love
- hotel del Luna (both are a bit more somber tho)
-Eulachada Waikiki
- extraordinary you
- romance is a bonus book
-Vincenzo
- Weightlifting Fairy KBJ
-doom at your service - I'm not a robot
- shopping King Louie
- the crowned clown
- moonlight (both sageuks tho which unlike myself loving them are not very popular)
-crash landing on you (solely for my bias Kim Jung Hyun tbh 😆)

As for ongoing dramas I currently watch, well I keep busy a lot with
- Tomorrow
- Again my life
- From now showtime
- sh**ting stars
- love all play
- my liberation note

Plus always two older dramas from my ptw list I catch up on. Currently it is while you were sleeping and mystic pop up bar.
