The first one is the same for me, too. Yetan crying her heart out (also their flashback of the past) really hit me HARD, knowing ManMan wouldn't be able to be revived. Also when Di Lan Jue found out about it and the way he cried, it prolonged my ugly crying session.
The second one would be when Youqin accompanied Yetan to see all the birthday presents. Another ugly crying moment for me. He encouraged him to go see the presents and he was there for her and then she started realizing that he had bought the same gifts for her as for QK. ACKKKK!!!!
Not saying I didn't cry during the sacrificing scenes, but since I already knew they could be revived in the future, somehow it softened the blow for me.
I'm not really a fan of xianxia because they're so long and draggy. Their story lines are extended by having the…
I couldn't even go into the middle part of Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (I only watched the beginning and then jumped to the end). No offense against the actors, but I just can't feel anything for certain actors. Maybe it's OK if it's a different genre, but for romance, I need to feel something ha ha ha ha ha...So same as you, SuSu and Bai Qian werne't my cup of tea, either. So I can relate.
Here’s my ranking of the xianxias I’ve watched:1) TSL (didn’t skip anything) 2) LBFAD (didn’t skip anything)…
1. TSL rank is the same for me, too, no skipping episodes and SO many side characters that I LOVE and ship. 2. Eternal Love of Dream. First I skipped the mortal realm completely, though I did go back to watch it. If not for stellar acting scene of Vengo in playing different characters (that are distinct), I wouldn't have finished it at all. Vengo is cute when Donghua Dijun finally realizes that he has feelings for FL, but still because of his typical role, he has other priorities. TSL broke down these typical barriers as the heavenly prince role, which is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! 3. LBFAD I ffwd the last few episodes. I just couldn't ship the second couple (for me, they didn't feel that important).
The other (famous) xianxias I've dropped in the middle. Even Love and Redemption, I skipped a lot in the draggy middle part and jumped straight to the ending.
This is exactly what I feel. They have life and aspirations outside of the romance aspect.
Yep, dramas for different moods. This drama is fit for quote collection about life (which I also LOVE) and a lot of beautiful moments he he he he he...
I be liking those side couples Guibai and the dancer are so cute, except Ji Man sister, too immature for the general…
That's what crossed my mind, too. Yuan Liang, are you blind? Can't you see how much FL cares about ML? And Wen Wan is just such an annoying character. Not even sure she truly loves ML. She just wants to own him. And I agree on Ji Man's sister. I ship Guibai and Ms. Shui, too he he...
