Same. I was ugly crying more on Man Man's death instead of Qingkui, because at least I knew Qingkui still had a chance to be reborn as a flower. Man Man's death was so final that it just hit me much harder.

I didn't expect to be hit this hard (ugly crying) while reading the lyrics of the song Lu Chen was playing on a harmonica in the flashback. I was hit by this wave of nostalgia that was SO strong. Home. Reminds me of the song lyrics: "Home is where the heart is and my heart is at home with you...."

I was nicely surprised myself, because he's not my type as an actor, but the story and the way he portrayed Lu Chen managed to pull me through the first episodes. After that, I feel that his character blooms even more as he shows more facial expressions. After TSL withdrawals, now this drama becomes the highlight of my day ha ha ha...

For me personally, my logic said that it was because she had lost Man Man AND Qingkui one after the other. These aren't just tiny losses, but HUGE ones. One is the person (or bird) who had been there with her for the longest time ever and the other one is her beloved sister. The time span between the two losses was also very short. I don't even think she had had enough time to grieve over the loss of Man Man properly before Qingkui sacrificed herself for her. Both losses are as well very tragic in their own ways. The more tragic the loss is, the more complicated the grief experience can be.
