Even though it's a small gesture, at around minute 18.49, CF's hand rests on Qingkui's shoulder for a few seconds during the scene where Luoluo confessed her feelings to Wudai. For some reason, I felt that small gesture to be sweet (showing how comfortable they had become with each other as costars).

Ah, it's that bad for you, eh? I guess everybody's different. I couldn't finish the famous Eternal Love TMOPB at all, but I did finish Eternal Love of Dream (after skipping the mortal arc first and then only later I came back to it).

I think I can forgive Emperor Tun because it does seem that Yetan truly wants to forgive him and wants to be close to him. So it's still logical to me that Yetan can forgive him even though if I were in her place, I don't think I'd be able to forgive him that easily.

Additional comment: I think I just realized just how much TSL fits my type of xianxia genre. I've seen some other xianxia dramas, too, but most of the time I couldn't finish them or I had to skip A LOT.

Yeah, you're right. No laughing out loud moments, true (compared to TSL which is chock-full of comedy until ep 33). The visuals of LBFAD definitely look different, but for me, I actually like TSL more in terms of visual aspects.

Yeah, those two are different indeed. And yep, Starry Love has such a pacing from beginning to the end. I actually enjoyed the beginning part of LBFAD more because of the switch between the fairy and the devil. Maybe for xianxia, I just prefer it to have more comedy than serious ones. Hmmm....

Maybe it's also the timing, dunno, because I watched it when TSL was/is still SO fresh in my mind. If you watched LBFAD while it was airing and then TSL only now, you had enough space in between.

I actually started LBFAD not long after this one and must say that the 2nd leads in that drama fell flat to me. I couldn't like it that much also because LBFAD doesn't have a gang full of awesome loveable comrades/side characters in TSL (Man Man, Di Lan Jue, Haichao, Sushui, Ziwu, Qingheng, Wudai, Luoluo).

I'm starting Road Home now. At least for now it seems this drama doesn't make me subconsciously compare it with TSL.

Yeahhhh ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...Haichao's facial expressions can really help spice up the scenes.

I saved the Fall in Love episodes on my youtube playlist. I have only checked out the very beginning of it, but was shocked to hear his dubbed voice. I'm SO used to his own voice here in TSL, so to hear the huge difference between the tone was quite jarring for me. I'm going to save it to watch later, because I like the FL in Lighter and Princess.
