Yeah, that's the crazy thing about this drama. There are only glimpses of Haichao/Sushui, but they look good together (chemistry-wise, too) that I miss them and I root for them. I love it when Haichao pulled Sushui over when CF took QK to the meteor shower garden because Sushui was going to follow them. And they both ended up with disapproval looks as CF lied about his past to QK HAHAHAHAHAHAHHH...
I haven't checked out LBFAD because I'm always struggling with the main actress' voice, but will probably check it out, too, sometime.
Enjoy the interviews and BTS! Let's try our best to cope with the withdrawal he he he...
P.S. Also the thirsty look on Sushui's face when Wudai tore open his robe in front of QK was so funny he he he he he...QK looked at him in horror, but Sushui was admiring the chest ha ha ha ha ha...

Yeah, I was a bit worried about Di Lan Jue at first, too, but glad they didn't write him that way he he...And yes for the glimpse of HaiChao/Sushui + WuDai/Luoluo. It's going to be tough moving on from this HUGE family of lovely characters. I tried watching another CXX drama today, but couldn't concentrate. Just going to watch some variety shows for now until I can focus again ha ha...
I vote for a 24 episode second season where the girls are reborn in the mortal world without their memories and…
I would love it if they still have their memories, but they're separated, so they have to find one another. ACK...the angst, knowing they're somewhere out there, but WHERE?

Yeah. In another drama and if the script or plot or pacing isn't as good, I wouldn't even think twice about Wudai, but they managed to make me have a soft spot for him and make me want to root for his happiness. That's a feat! And I love the three hilarious deities, too. Whenever they appear, I am HAPPY. I have a soft spot for Di Lan Jue, too. Such a loyal friend.
One thing I'm not sure how I feel about the "redemption" of the HE. I know he's the reason Youqin is able to get…
Yeah, same, I didn't feel it strong enough like (for example) Emperor Tun's redemption arc. It didn't feel as heartfelt as Emperor Tun's regrets. But it's passable enough for me just for the sake of his telling them what to do to help the twin sisters + saving them time to get them back to life.
I think the ending is still pretty good if we put aside the twin flower reunion. Heavenly emperor finally realises…
And they make it believable - the friendship/comrade/sibling relationships. The chemistry is unbelievable that I miss not just the main characters, but also the side characters with less screen time.
Just finished watching the last episode, ending was not that satisfying but overall acceptable. And tbf, this is…
Same. The other xianxia dramas I've watched (or dropped) have lots of draggy parts that I skipped. This one is a NO-skipping drama, no matter how sad/angsty the scene is. And I find myself missing even the smallest side characters ever when they haven't appeared for a while, whereas in other dramas I don't care if they come on screen or not.
Gotta say though, I LOVE the main OSTs. When "The End" appeared on screen, the soothing voice and the familiar lyrics felt like a warm blanket. Thank you for this gem of a ride (not just watching the episodes, but also the interaction here).
OK about LBFAD recommendation.
