Aiyahh!!!!!!!! All those happy couples!!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹And the fun and games amongst the elders!!!!! So wholesome!…
Yeah, I love how they are playing games while waiting around in Dongqiu he he he he he...deffo about the rewatch value (though I'll probably stop before the ugly crying episodes come up LOL).
I cried my eyes out along with Youqin 😭😭😭 He knew what was going on and he knew he couldn’t do anything…
Now I'm going to start CXX drama Fall in Love. I love his acting, so I want to know his other works, too (except perhaps GMP because I've seen trailer of the ending and I'm not in the mood to ugly cry again for the time being LOL!).
I want to see YT and QK in their human forms again BUT overall, the ending fits the theme of the drama. The drama…
I second this. This was what I felt/thought as well at the end of the drama. At least now they can live in peace and the husbands aren't going to grow old like normal humans ha ha...
Yetan: "If you miss me, just look at it. If it flickers, it means I miss you." ----> I feel like being hit by a ton of bricks.
Reminds me of the quote: "Perhaps they are not stars, but rather, openings in the heavens, where the love of our lost ones pour through and shine down on us to let us know they are happy."
Maybe because I've read the spoilers about the ending before watching it, I knew what not to expect, but when watching the ep, there was something I realized. This drama is VERRRRYYY good at making me feel/think that something is justified in terms of the plot. In other dramas sometimes I feel certain deaths are useless or they make me frustrated af, but QK and YT's deaths (FOR ME personally) actually pushed forward lots of good things.
Even though it sucks that they both died (though not fully died in the end), it creates this bittersweet connection between CF and YQ. They both know how it feels to lose their beloved. Also, it pushes forward the mending of relationship between Wudai and CF (also enabling Wudai to move on from QK for a new love). And of course in the grand course of the story, their sacrifices saved the world and in the end cleared the wrong myth about the Twin Flowers.
I'm actually going to think of this drama backwards...knowing the ending is still "unfinished" (as in not in human form), I can rewatch all the funny and sweet scenes when they're still alive he he he he...
That ENDING!!!! THEY REALLY ENDED THAT THERE!!!!!! THEY MAKE MY THE FRONT SCENE WITH YQ AND YT SO DAMN SAD AND…
I hear you. The ending can also make or break a drama (at least it can make the drama feel less satisfactory in this case). GAAAAHHHHH...and I was also thinking the same as Lacuna_1024, how can they spoil the real ending like that? But they did! D'oh!
