Finally caught up with the latest episodes. T_T This drama has a lot of beautiful lines. I love how the FL and ML aren't so blindly in love that they forget to pursue their own dreams/goals/studies. As much as they want to be in the same uni together, still their own paths are just as important. The friendship part is so adorable, too.
"Adults need friends, too." "Yes, because only with friends around can adults temporarily not act like adults." YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
Yess unexcpected gem...usually i didnt watch school drama...i'm just curious what kind of drama which replace…
Yeah, I wasn't expecting anything, either. I thought it would be just the typical school drama. I've seen a few, but this one is different. This one indeed feels more refreshing 'coz the ML and FL do help each other at school (instead of the typical ML always being so much superior in everything).
🤣 Ep11 told that the most mysterious intelligence organization was Chinese neighbors.
Faster than CIA in spreading the intel to the parents HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHH...and then dad pretending to fix the lantern's position with that broom handle LOL LOL!!!
Such a wholesome, healing drama. It's made me laugh, smile like an idiot, cry (the kind of tears that make me feel satisfied). They picked the right cast for the main characters, also for (esp.) grandma. She just oozes that kind of wholesome grandma character. And the friendship and the characters of friends don't feel like randomly-slapped-on-additions-just-to-keep-things-going. They feel real and important to the story.
"It feels like no matter when, this world always needs heroes but i don't suppose anyone wishes for their own…
Indeed! I was crying my eyes out to see Gu Ran opening up to Jiang Jia about his childhood. Damnnnn...T_T And then after making me cry, the next scene made me laugh as Guan Fang tried to listen to Gu Ran's heartbeat and trying to touch him all over BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHH...
"I miss my grandma, but I won't tell dad about it 'coz he probably misses her, too." AWWWWWWWWWWWWW...
Yes, I understand. You were so young back then, so the experience may be different then compared to when you're older. You're right, suppressing your emotions esp. for a long time will only do you harm than good. I'm really glad you got to express yourself and you can both be there for each other and help each other heal, too. I wish you all the best in everything you do, also in supporting and protecting your mother. ❤️❤️❤️
"I miss my grandma, but I won't tell dad about it 'coz he probably misses her, too." AWWWWWWWWWWWWW...
Ohhhh...my condolences for the loss of your father at a young age. I'm glad that you could talk about it with your mother and felt light after crying your eyes out. There's healing in being able to grieve without any restraint, esp. with people who also loved the one you loss (in this case your father). ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
That part with granny again made me shed a few tears. "Isn't it great to be able to spend NY with the same people that matter to you?" Yes, esp. when you know they won't live forever, gotta cherish every moment you still have left with them.
"I miss my grandma, but I won't tell dad about it 'coz he probably misses her, too." AWWWWWWWWWWWWW...
Yeah, that was why I loved that line. But I also think it may be good to miss someone together, too. Like when my mom-in-law passed away, my hub and I cried together.
