Yeah, and understandably so in this drama regarding their preference for kissing scenes because there are so many (different types of) crying scenes and she said they would sometimes keep crying after the director said "cut" and they'd look at each other and say, "My eyes hurt."

Ah, makes sense about your theory as to why she said it. And yep, the pain is completely new to him and just as he thought she was taking him to the moon by wanting to marry him, she crushed him on their wedding day (which was probably the happiest day of his life ever).
