AHAHAHAHAHH...this is one of the rare dramas where I don't mind a bad ending (seriously I usually avoid BE like the plague).

That is why I feel more sympathy towards TTJ's character. I was even thinking at one point that those hurtful words LSS said may even feel more painful for TTJ than the actual physical pain he was in. Words can hurt someone and scar someone so badly, too, and drive them to the edge. Verbal abuse vs physical pain. Of all the things she could choose to say to him, why those words? Dunno.

Yeah HAHAHAHAHAHHHH...funny! After that interview, I started watching more how they spit the blood...if they spit more to the floor or face instead of the costume, maybe the costume staff feel more relieved LOL!

And then Bai Lu said in one interview that one time she spit too much blood onto the costume that the costume staff asked, "Why did you spit this much blood?" LOL LOL!

Yeah, definitely different vibe than Mingye/Sang Jiu wedding gowns. I particularly like the head cover (sentimental much? Because they both did some embroidering for it LOL!). I actually kind like Sang Jiu's wedding gown, too, because it's unique (kinda sleeveless).

As an aside: I must say I couldn't help thinking about when the two guys were rolling the carpet down the pathway...just how heavy/long was it? LOL! The drone shot from above was gorgeoussssssss.

Same, this is why I keep going despite the fact that I usually dislike this amount of angst. It allows the both of them to show their acting chops. And I didn't expect to get 2 ep today, either, so I was so nicely surprised LOL!

I don't normally like this amount of angst and misunderstanding in a drama, but their acting (esp. Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu) is what keeps me going he he he he he...also the beautiful costumes and OSTs.

Yeeeeeeppppppp. He has SO much to lose by putting down his defenses after all the betrayals and abuse he had experienced in his past. The last ep was even more heartbreaking when he started talking about his fears. Danggggg!

For me, I feel more emotions towards TTJ because of his background. Also the fact that he's put down a lot of his defenses DESPITE every bad thing that he had gone through and ESP. because the one he put down his defenses for was the one who used to torture him (the real YXW - even when the one he put down his defenses for was actually LSS). The both of them surely don't start the relationship healthily and they can't maintain the relationship healthily because of different reasons (also temperament/background), but just want to write down why I can sympathize more towards TTJ compared to YXW. It's normal to have different feelings for different characters. We're all different people.

I'm still watching TTEOTM (in the mood for angsty stuff), but yeah, there are quite strong reactions in that area (dunno about reactions online otherwise) ha ha ha ha ha ha...I'll DM you my Discord ID. Yeah, most of them are "mission first to save the world (love is at the bottom of the list)" and here we have the ML who leaves the immortal realm and would fight the whole world for the woman he loves WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I think it's normal to have different feelings about the characters, no? For me the gut-wrenching part is more about the way she did what she did (also like Angi said: the hurtful words she chose to say to him over and over again) and also the timing of when she did it.

Same. It feels like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Like in Ashes of Love, FL's mother decided to take away her feelings to protect her...in the end it only fulfilled the prophecy. DANG!!!! Now most of my feelings go towards TTJ. T_T

I really like the way TTJ pronounces "Ye Xiwu", especially when he's being angry or upset he he he he he...that slooowwww way of saying "Ye Xiwu"...mmmm...

I'm less bothered by this trope. I'm more bothered with the trope: after they get together, they should break up first for (silly/stupid) reasons before getting back together again in the end. Ugh...
