I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE!!!! WHY?? T^T if someone know where can I watch it subbed online please mention it to…
I think it's a mistake that the year says 2014 next to the title, but if you look in the details section on the right side there's 2015 as the release date^^
i think the last look in ep16 was just for us to be crazy. and exited for next ep...cuz few minutes befor we saw…
Yeah I think so too! So far the characters have been acting really consistent, so it would surprise me if YS would suddenly distrust him that much, it would just seem out of character for her.
Some interesting things I found out. The writer of Healer, Song Ji Na, also wrote the drama from 1995, Sandglass.…
I watched Sandglass early last year, which was one of the reason I was really excited for Healer. Iirc they also said during the press conference that Healer is supposed to show the story of the people whose parents lived in the time that Sandglass depicted. So I also really like that those two dramas are linked together.
And maybe it's because I liked Park Sang Won in Sandglass a lot that I can't really find myself hating Moon Shik even if I hate the things he does/did.
With regards to YS's panic attack, I believe it's PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). From what I've learnt…
I think her facing her trauma was also pretty well done in ep 4 (?) when the Double S guys came to take YS with them. She knew well enough that these guys are dangerous and might cause her to have a panic attack but she still offers to go with them so that Bong Soo can escape in the mean time to call the police. Or even earlier when she chased after Healer because he had taken her bag. I mean yes, in the end she couldn't do anything against him but you can't blame her for that when she's up against a guy who does that kind of stuff professionally! And I really like that her being able to face her fears can actually make her help Jung Hoo now. Because he's in the situation of wanting to just avoid the world, but now she's the one who can push him in the right direction. So even if he's the one who saved her from physically dangerous situations before, she can now return the favour even if she's not aware of his situation yet^^
Good article! I really hope more people will watch it, it's such a well written and acted drama! Having seen and loved the last two dramas of this writer (The Chaser and Golden Empire) I never expected melodrama and knew it was going to be intense, but it's even surpassing my high expectations so far!
The characters are really interesting and like you said, especially the moments between Jeong Hwan and Tae Joon. It's unusual to see a "hero" who's as ruthless as the villain, but that makes it all the more fascinating for me, as I can't wait to see what kind of dirty tricks they will use to win against each other!
Ah, Will It Snow for Christmas ♥ That drama has its flaws, but it'll always have a special place in my heart. And like you said the childhood part of it was especially great^^ I saw HYS in it for the first time, but despite liking her I've only watched Penny Pinchers since then... Maybe I'll try Tazza sometime, you make it sound like it could be my cup of tea, plus I want to see more of Kim Min Joon as well ;)
This is doing absolutely poor ratings (only 6%) , it won't be a surprise if it is canceled, or reduce the episodes…
Ep 10 actually reached ratings of 9.2%, which isn't too shabby these days. And Naeil's Cantabile that aired before Healer wasn't cut despite ratings being in the 5-6% range, so I doubt Healer is in any danger of being cut.
So what is this about? Does that guy heal people when they're hurt or something?
No he's a kind of errand boy, who does tasks for rich people, like stealing secret info or things like that. There'll be an explanation on why he's called Healer, but currently (at ep 10) we haven't been told yet^^ Basically the drama is about the three leads getting to know each other in the present and we slowly find out about events that happened/linked them in the past.
Anyone else not like the music? I feel like it could have been so much better and often felt very inappropriate…
So far I like the music, although I think it would be better if they didn't use that one song (I think it's the opening?) during fight scenes, like they did in ep 1 in the subway and in ep 6 when Healer was fighting the Double S guy. But those two are the only scenes where I felt the music was inappropriate^^
I've watched a few historical dramas so far but each time I feel like they drag on and on for way to long but…
That depends on if you like the politics in historical dramas. Except for the investigation of the murder case at the beginning (which also has political elements) the whole drama is focused on the politics in the palace and how that affects the relationship between the King and Crown Prince. Personally I loved it this way, but for people that usually get bored by the political schemes, I think this might be too dry and heavy.
If I hadn't already liked him, your article definitely would have convinced me to check out some of his works ;) As usual great writing from you and it really gets across how much you like him^^
And maybe it's because I liked Park Sang Won in Sandglass a lot that I can't really find myself hating Moon Shik even if I hate the things he does/did.
