youre right, i didnt specify! i boldly assumed ppl who commented before or a regular visitor here would know wat im referring to. i forgot to count others. usually ppl dont make a huge fuss about basic comments like selfish, brat and that too— blame a specific gender in the audience (like i did) without any reason

yeah ive actually went down the comments! :D they have degraded the female characters left and right. im not talking about the ones consisting of “brat/selfish”. and yes the toxic, derogatory comments (not worth my time to type out) were by male gender profiles hence my comment. pls dont reply to my comment if u failed to see that bc my comment then wasnt for u!

did i miss something? are we watching the same drama??? when did fl freak around? she has only one past and its with xingyan. whats with all these sl*t shaming? she even reassures him of having no feelings towards yusi or other people tho they have broken up years ago. she shouldnt have to but given their unique bond, its valid. she has trauma related to marriage whereas xingyan sees marriage as the thing to solidify their bond- give it a permanent label. xingyan has anxious attachment whereas xingrou has avoidant attachment. and thats why we see this push and pull and they're bound to clash. they lack communication and have strong personalities.

all these shouldnt bring out so much "toxicity" from some of you tho?? whats with all these judgment and weird behavior the heck?

lmfao these comments are crazy. not surprised that non generic gray characters always get some people very heated. but new/potential viewers pls dont get discouraged by the rating/comments. i think the show is fun for its concept. i also see chemistry between the leads. its okay if you disagree but some people are going too far with their comments. disgusting name callings should not be the norm no matter what gender. like where did these weirdos come from and why are they trying to ruin it? :|

also the thing is its bound to be different just bc cdramas take on a more natural, day to day type vibes whereas kdramas are fast paced and don't focus a lot on the side details. thats why family/friendship/youth chinese dramas feel like they have more warmth/ more human(? -- cause realistic) compared to the korean ones. (not saying korean ones dont at all, just less given their # of eps etc) the korean one will seem lacking evidently. i dont think we should spend so much time comparing the two because of this factor alone. at the end of the day, its upto preference.

i love go ahead!! as a fan of both c & kdramas, i already knew it wont be exact but that's also the fun part about adaptations right? (as long as theyre done right, to me.) based on the first two eps, i def think theyre going to the right direction, if not fully accurate. im quite satisfied because usually some remakes of other cdramas were just not upto my mark. this one thoo!! i cried, laughed and im just really happy and excited (:
