both ml and fl are so fire my goodness. so complex — has all of my attention. i love their development. i wont be surprised if they literally got each others neck at their swords and then kiss afterwards LOL

i wanna know so many things and id be disappointed if they dont show lmts past life properly.
wat are/were lmt’s motives as a bandit? wat did she do her entire life? is she just in her familys traditions/business or there's a bigger thing to it? what are her goals and aspirations?
right now all i know is that she has been a leader and like robinhood. is she a traitor? we still don't exactly know. it's just an assumption because of her identity and her business. she has been doing iron business, but for what? again, family business? or helping the poor? or is it for the rebellion (bc iron was used for weapons)? we dont know lmt’s motives yet. think about it. if she was such a big piece to the rebel, would she have been almost killed though? maybe she found out something, opposed to something etc.
and then, who will rebel? ziyu or prince siu? im also still lost where prince siu’s position is in the royal family.
i think lmts hatred for cxz is valid. i know all of you say he saved her life etc, but all his actions towards had motives. also if he knew who she was from the beginning, even if he wanted to save her lets say, he he wouldnt have been able to. rather maybe supervise her execution per orders. we see this for gushans execution— something he did not want at all. im actually very worried for our ml now :(( there's a lot he cant do because he has to be loyal to the court. so much inner conflict because he genuinely wants to create a fair world. but this too keeps me intrigued. how will he develop? will he just keep staying loyal to the court or will his character break? will it be cause of his wife GASP hahah i mean for him to marry her, he will need to do more than what he is doing. love wins after alll
i dont think ml is deserving of death for his lies but he should face consequences. i mean, imagine you had to share room and everything with a complete stranger for so long. (EVEN tho he did nothing and was very respectful to her) and all your moves thoughts were manipulated and guarded. thats pretty much jail. i also want to point out that, characters and actors should not be mixed. just maybe some might excuse ml's actions bc the actor is goodlooking loll
we can also say the same for fl. shes not 100% innocent. but i do want to say that because of the amnesia plot, we can see how goodhearted fl actually is. that's why i need them to show me her past AAAAAAA.
anyways, again, they're both very interesting, very GREY and quite similar. im rooting for them T^T ahdhjsjdjs we are so in for a ride. im literally stopping myself from spoiling and reading the novel
i just wanna say Ren Yun Jie, Gao Rong Fang and Liu Tian Yang all did so well with their acting. i wouldn't be surprised if they get more and more roles because of this. ryj and grf were already impressive despite the low budget but i also thought LTY's villain/dark eerie-ness came out rlly well at times.
