Well done! Another "blossoming" review. ;) I think Chinese title creators need to have a list of naugthy words. Blossom, Romance, Destiny, should be at the top of that list. 😆
It is unsurprising that a relatively new talent is willing to ask the hard questions. Once you are part of the establishment, you learn to play the game so that scripts and money keeps coming. Maybe he will stay true. Time will tell. ;)

Yes, I think the system caught productions off guard when first implemented. They just literally cut a show in half but it doesn't make much sense when you have a gap for months. I hope they learn their lesson and plan it properly from now on. ;)

They had to cut it in 2 because of "new" official rules. Each season can't be longer than 40 eps and there must be a 6 months gap between two seasons. The size of dramas were getting out of hand. ;)
Ugh bad second seasons are the worst, I'd much prefer just 1 good season than multiple bad ones ruining the 1st.
