In the long run I think it will be good for Kdrama to gain a wider audience. IF people watch, and IF Netflix starts picking up more higher rated shows. They are concentrating on mostly cable stuff now, because the cable channels have signed a deal for their dramas to go to Netflix. It's a very big thing for Kdrama to take this next step towards getting more people interested. Frankly, since these are cable shows, we always had trouble with so many of them not getting subbed at all, so if it means it will be subbed eventually by Netflix, I am willing to wait and marathon it rather than never see it subbed. :)

Bad Guys 2 just got loaded to Netflix today. We will probably never see currently running TV shows (nor movies) on Netflix. They don't do it for any other country's TV shows that I know of.

hmmm. Insanely violent, massively bloody, and not a single redeeming person in the entire movie. It is brutal, depressing, and morbidly, yet ironically, set in its final moments in a virtual bloodbath in a funeral home, still the movie was not a hard watch even at 2+hours. A lot of hard work went into the action sequences, which were amazing. Even so, there's no one to root for and I just found myself tired of it all by the end.

I enjoyed 99% of it and it's a strong 8.5 for me. I guess my only SLIGHT hesitation with this higher rating would be the ending and, more so, the elements of horror they threw in (I hate horror stuff, so I'm not impartial when that happens). I felt like the horror type stuff (music, sudden scares, screaming faces, 'room at the end of the hall scenario',etc, were overdone. The movie is really an excellent psychological thriller without that ...for me...just a personal opinion. It may not bother others who are fans of that genre. I just felt like those elements could still have been in there, but not with so much emphasis. The ending was just a bit too fast for me....not that what happened was wrong or badly done, it just seemed too 'movie cliche like' if you know what I mean. Still I was shaking at the end, and I'm glad I don't have to go to bed for about 4 more hours! Better watch something light and fluffy now. :(

I'm so confused. This site says it's 16 episodes, and dramafever says it's 'complete' at 4 episodes... can anyone…
It was originally broadcast as a web drama in 16 fifteen minute episodes. DF is combining the episodes into 4 one hour episodes. They almost always do this with web dramas.

Even with the change in Leading Lady from Go Hyun Jung to Park Jin Hee, it will have no effect for me because the story is so good. Park Jin Hee is wonderful and she will do well in this. I feel very sorry for Go. I can't imagine what kind of pressures must rule her life for her to lose her temper like that in front of so many people. She has been pushed to her limit too many times in her life I think. Her ex (and his family) must be vindictive as H to still be going after her after this many years. I hope that the cast and crew and Park Jin Hee herself will do well, since this is their work too; and that every care will be taken of Park Jin Hee since she is 5 months pregnant.

So this is the 3rd or 4th time I've watched this drama....I have NO idea why! The plot is meh, the acting pretty mediocre, but I blame that on a lame script, and the 'friends' of Ji Eun are disgusting liars and thieves who should be in jail. That whole scenario with her and them makes her look like the biggest idiot in the world, something I detest in a female lead. I hate stupid and she is made to look that way every time those 2 creeps are on the screen. YET! Here I am again, watching it again! There is something about this drama that just is fun and that I enjoy. Rain's character is a hoot...the little boy who picks on the girl he likes because he doesn't understand his feelings for her, as others below have said. And the leads have a cute chemistry that just saves the whole drama...for me! I keep thinking though, how much better this could be if it were made by today's standards....not that this scenario hasn't been done to death. Just, with a better script, this could have been more.

Absolutely loved it. Terrifically well written and acted. Everyone did a great job in this. I loved the different ending. Most of these makjang melos stick with the standard format. I really applaud the writer and director.

Lee Kyu Hyung killed his role in this, and me along with it. The most emotionally wrenching character in this imo. It was very hard watching and knowing what was going to happen, that scene just rips your heart apart as you pray and beg him not to, knowing all along it is fruitless to hope. Drugs SUCK! And all dealers should and will burn in hell. I respect the writers for going there, for showing the bitter truth, but it was so painful.

That was more like a dig at N.Korea. He looked like a N.Korea dictator.
Except for the fact that he was talking about the fact that his father was a collaborator during the Japanese occupation. And then there was his long association with the Japanese also. And, you're right, Ki Seo did have enough time to move...I think he didn't on purpose because he knew he was becoming his father. He had just murdered/beaten a guy to death in a very violent and gruesome way (not that he didn't deserve it) and he had frightened himself at how he had done exactly what his father had done. He would have spent the rest of his life in jail and he had the memory of the women he had abused and branded too. He was one messed up guy too. I really like how they didn't make his character all bad. It's nice when there are shades. His was the best written and acted character I think. Going to miss this one, So Thankful Viki subbed it.

Some holes and procedural stuff at the beginning, but then it settled and what a well written and acted story! Wonderful. The ending had its token I Hate Japan scene and overdid the concentration camp scenario though. He was already bad enough. It was overkill to cram all that Nazi stuff in, there was reason enough for him to die already. It made it seem like they were wanting to pile on the justification for him to die. Still, for the overall story, that battle between the father and sons, and for the acting by the 2 brothers, it was highly satisfying and I looked forward to it every week. 9/10 for me.
