If you are interested in seeing this drama,PLEASE PLEASE SEND REQUESTS TO US NETFLIX. It is currently airing on Asia Pacific Netflix. We need to get them to bring it here!
I am not seeing it on US Netflix? Is it under another name? I have been waiting and waiting for this! :(
Well...bad news. You may have noticed...it's not there. My Cali friend got hold of a supervisor. It was apparently posted to US Netflix in error! It is being shown on Asia Netflix. We can only hope some of the 'alternate' sites will pick it up. I will be suggesting it to them for sure! But we are also going to send requests to Netflix US : https://help.netflix.com/en/titlerequest

Let's just hope it shows up ...though I looked at November releases and it's not there either! aaaaack! I did ask QuickDrama, if they actually sub dramas, if they would consider picking it up. They are a group of ex Soompi/Viki subbers who have started that site. No response from them yet, so I'm not sure they are actually subbing or just building another illegal site like Nice, Cool, etc.

I don't think so. I think you have to sign up for them. But my friend got the email and she told me it was coming and I went to Netflix and added it to my queue. She lives in California, I'm in Nebraska...I don't think the 3 of us imagined it!

I just called them too. She couldn't find a thing either. I googled the old news articles for October 2017 Netflix releases...not a one of them shows Argon or anything resembling the title. So depressed right now.

ugh. that makes 3 of us. We are hoping and praying it's a temporary thing...something to do with getting it ready for us to watch tomorrow. We are going to be soooo bummed if we lose this chance!
Good. Tho the damage that father was doing to his sons, especially the older one, was really glossed over with the too fairytale ending. Still, good acting and good story none the less.
Unfortunately, it seemed like this film couldn't make up it's mind if it wanted to be a serious history piece or a romance, until the end when it went full bore into the cliched Korean standby of Melodrama with a highly predictable ending that was eye rollingly awful just because of its predictability. On the plus side it was as gorgeous to look at as its 2 stars. So if you just want an eyeful instead of headful, this film will definitely fill the bill. Pity the poor people who watch this with no idea of history, nor without reading several recap/reviews to explain what was going on though. It kinda reminded me of a James Bond movie, without the special effects. 7 and that's a gift because I love the beautiful leads.
OMG What a sobfest! They must have gone through gallons of liquid tears. How long did that guy stagger around with his spear while the king screamed and 100+ archers just stood there? How many times did KSH do his scream, and I'm sure they would have left the queen laying there with her eyes open for hours so the king could have his moment closing them. And the violins! OMG they were cranking for the entire last hour. Even with all of the standard cliche political stuff, that every sageuk ever seems to be chock full of , it was a pretty production with nice acting and basically a good story, if a bit histrionic. Still, that death scene at the end...so cringe worthy. Not my cup of tea I guess.
So in Korea they don't carry epi pens when they have bad allergies...allergies that can apparently kill this customer? As If! Makes no sense at all and it's a bad piece of writing all around. There's no way someone with that kind of reaction wouldn't be carrying one. No way they would have been that careless in the kitchen either. It was a silly bit of writing to fill up space. But a lot of this show is pretty silly, tho pretty to look at. And why did they find it necessary to fake the age difference between these two and have her say 6 years when they are 8 years apart? It's glaringly obvious she is much older than him and it's not like we didn't look at their bios and figure it out. It just makes it seem like they feel like there's something wrong with those 2 extra years so they have to change it.
well...Amazon has it now. Tho that might not be much help if you don't have access. But, it's free with prime. Maybe you have a friend who has it and will invite you over? Watching it right now.
Really well done. The cinematography, production, direction, acting were just wonderful. The story realistically, sensitively and unflinchingly presented. The lack of 'Drama' in this film made it all the more immersive for the audience. This is one of those films that is more like reading a book and it loses nothing for it. Nam Yeon Woo did a terrific job in the role of a terribly damaged young man who has been sinned against and also sinned too much and has been broken under the weight of both. I will definitely look forward to watching Lee Don Ku's film Entangled. I'm surprised that Nam Yeon Woo has not picked up bigger parts since this. But I see he has, this year, written and directed his first film, Lost to Shame.
Can't find it subbed anywhere. I searched under this name and Conspirators with no luck. It's too old now, no one will pick it up to sub it, it wasn't that popular and no really big names in it. But...if you do see it, even a year or more down the line, let me know!
