If they want to discuss mental illness and the toxicity of the industry that's applaudable but there's a certain sensitivity you approach topics like these with

there's nothing realistic about someone with an ed, abandonment issues and the tendency to self harm suddenly healing due to the power of friendship and family or wtv which appears to be this show's end destination.

the (ex-)husband of the fl basically tried to force himself on her in retaliation to her pleas to divorce him. but some ppl still feel bad for him because he's being controlled by his parents which is silly to me.
but I don't want to start a war or anything so if it does I'll just delete this comment 😭.

The current rating is more accurate anyway. This show was never on the level of move to heaven or reply or moving or any other highly rated kdramas. It's a trashy feel good (or I guess bad after those last few minutes) makjang esque drama with a plot straight out of wattpad. On a more positive note, Chae Soo Bin is great and I hope she gets better dramas than this in the future.

One thing I'll say is although the FL has an assertive personality she isn't actually that strong physically. The ML - despite being slightly weakened himself - has saved her multiple times.

His old workplace was so toxic. The way none of his colleagues stood up for him rubbed me the wrong way too. I'm happy he's moved on and I hope we won't see them again.

I actually really like it

neglected kids acting out isn't some new concept...she's a realistic character unlike the other princess who is perfect in everything and has no weaknesses and is loved by everyone

I hope going into this new year you heal and realise child abuse and exploitation is not tough love.
