the title is castaway diva but there's just too much going on left & right (even with other characters), it could have been better if they focused more on her journey of reaching her dreams...girl got away from the island only to assist other people with their problems lol
Since Who Rules the World, I've been looking for equally good wuxia dramas & I've never been particularly satisfied until generation to generation. I'm impressed by the fighting scenes. Zhou Yiran really did well in playing the villain protagonist. The unending push & pull between the ml & fl, from enemies to i think i like you to let us not meet again to me&you against the world to we're better off not together to let's give this toxic love a chance again is getting annoying. She's that frustrating friend who cries bc of an equally frustrating guy, swears she will leave him but she always go back to him lol. Love this series for its wuxia genre though.
Now, we need a wuxia drama with wang peng & li yunrui as main casts!!!!!
They're both just stinking cute, I love it 😭 I kinda miss the time when korean bls are like this, heart fluttering...now they're all just about which has more skinships scenes fck the script. Japan bls almost always delivers.
Watch this to see more of Xingxu & Yuwen sibling energy. Enjoy this so muuuch. I laughed so hard during the cantonese script relay, my throat was irritated & had cough the next day lol. Linyi is so funny. It was worth it though. It has similar games with Natural High but the s3 of that show is just filled with too much catch the spy games. WOW the World has more variety of games so I enjoyed this more. Can't wait for the gossip trio interactions in season 2! I've seen the clips of their filming & I am excited already!
Jeon Yubin is gooood. I've seen him a number of times in bl dramas but wish I could see him in regular series with longer eps, bl or not. I feel like he could do so well in villain roles.
I like Xiaotian in my little happiness and this is the first time I've seen him in historical cdrama & a villain at that. A formidable villain! He really pissed me off, he surprised me & I have so much respect for him as an actor like damn he did it so well even until the end. His ramblings at the end make him sound crazy but he is speaking the truth lol.
Love that the fl and ml are clever and dependable characters - wang churan & ryan cheng are perfect for the roles. I expected the comedic element in this series & got betrayed with the serious dark flip at half part of the series. Although I was blindsided at first, I feel like it's necessary & give depth to the plot. There are times in the middle that it feels a bit dragging but overall, I enjoyed this series.
How is that an ending lol. A lot of people in there can prove who she is & her surgery scar? Like do they think we are stupid 😭 Still 7.5/10 for not losing momentum but I wouldn't say it was great. If I know the ending, I'd not waste time watching it.
They should marketed this s2 as part 1, 2 & 3 so the wait in between the stories are expected not like this jeez i can't wait for arthitdao's story, excited how they'll show the ghosts lmao

TonfahTyphoon's story is my most favorite howlsairy novel. It's a rollercoaster - crying, more crying to punching my pillow, screaming, making strange noises & losing my sanity especially when Fah's teased & flirted with Phoon knowing the person writing those letters is him. I know it's never going to be as good as my experience when I read the novel but I am grateful to the writers for making it as similar as the novel as possible given the 8 episodes limit & to Bever & Tonliew for doing well in giving life to my favorite characters. Also love seeing all the fourever you gang again, I miss them! Now this made me want to reread the novel for nth time.
Omg, I feel warmth & pain linger in my heart after watching this. This series is my most favorite thai BL drama and I rewatched it a number of times with the same experience like this first time. I didn't know they have this special episode until I randomly scroll down dramas to watch in Wetv. I love them so much I can't explain it!!!! When Khun Yai laid his hands out and ask for a dance then there are flashbacks from this orig series, I started crying, like literally bawling my eyes out. I always wish the orig series have the same ending with the novel and feel regret but this solves it. Whoever think about this special episode, thank you so muchhhhhh. Still crying while typing this. Help, how do I move on from this. It's like experiencing that painful break up again, not even my break up story.
There is a significant maturity gap between the ML and FL. She is just a kid bruh she really has no business thinking of marriage just to get away from her mother.

All the novel copies translation I have seem okay & understandable. If you want to try to read those copies, I can share them to you. Dan is Nao's twin brother & Jayden is a new character. They meet when other CPs are already coupled with each other (like when everyone is already working). I haven't started s2 so I am not sure if they are here but I remember Nao mentioning Dan in North's story when they were talking about Boston's time difference.
Yeah I love Earth but he does not fit Ter's character. I remember them always mentioning Ter as someone who is always hungry & eating in the novel lol.
