dead dead 😠the butterflies when i first saw this series is the same every single time i rewatch it (rewatching it now for the nth time ) ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Why tf did he did that to him?!!!!! That is way beyond crossing the line. Bruh is a black flag 💀 Idk how they are gonna move forward from what happened in ep 4. We still have 8 eps to find out lol.
They should given the ML sharp looks, hair in a bun as the prince or commander of security bureau and i guess the normal ponytail as the guy the FL saw in the streets for contrast. He looks better with his hair in a bun bc the ponytail gives him a soft look which is very contrary to his personality as the prince but okay in his random guy character for friendlier look.
Was a bit sick but still went to the theater to watch this. If you will watch this, set your expectation that the whole movie will be a one night story. It was entertaining, a good number of jump scares & cinematic is well done it is kinda creepy (but dark ðŸ˜) but I wish they explore more on the stories of the water ghost, chief woo & han suin. Everything is vague, it definitely one of those movies that would leave you thinking, analyzing & coming up with your own theories. Like was there really a water ghost or is it the idea of salmokji (that area) being the crossroad of life & death or maybe both? If someone has their own theories, please let me know in the replies & just marked it as spoiler ðŸ˜
while watching your sky i always wait for their 1-5 minutes teepor scenes then i was hooked by this series & how natural & intense their chemistry is then i scroll through their yt shorts edits for hours so now I am deep into this hole i don't know how to get out ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Oh wow that's surprising, mainstream chinese actors don't do this genre. I feel like due to censorship, it's gonna be bromance 😠Is it being bl, the reason why they are parking this at on hold?
A question to anyone who read the novel please.. I really loved Beside the sky and feel so connected that I couldn't…
You have to read the novel. They follow the novel as much as they can like 85% (pretty decent with eps restrictions) but novels was so much better because it has all the thoughts of phoon which is pretty much the reason why it is the best among howlsairy novels. Everything is more painful, more warm & too real compared to her other books (which are also good ofc), I love it. His thoughts gave the story much more depth. This is why novels will always be 100% better than live adaptations especially in sentimental ones.

Oh damn i thought that was like behind the scenes 😠I did double check if it was 40 or 41 eps bc there was an extra ep lol. Honestly, I am not sure if I am interested much on the special but thanks for letting me know 😄
There is a big spoiler here, everything will be cleared up keep watching.
Yeah they are a bit vague on this one. These are things I assumed from what they choose to reveal in the series: 1. Duan Xu got kidnapped as a kid 2. His father made Fang Ji act as Duanxu 3. Duan Xu got back to Great Liang 4. Remember that time when the "Duan Xu" who is famous for his poetry (Fang Ji) traveled & was assassinated, that's when the real Duan Xu saved him & introduced himself. The travel might a ruse for his father to kill Fang Ji to silence him & get Duan Xu back as his son. 5. The exam probably came after when Duan Xu, Fang Ji & the prince became top scholars (most likely became friends) & made a pact to be the best in their own roles to make their nation better in the future.

I hate that a lot of people unnecessarily died & that even Duan Xu's already short life even got shorter I will forever curse the writers & director ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
No one best fit to play as He Simu other than Dilraba herself. She is ethereal, soft & fierce at the same time. I was a little bit afraid it's gonna be the same with Glory when the fl is a too strong character that the ml fades & there is no chemistry but I am glad it is not the case here. They purposely made the ml character strong willed & skillful in martial arts just fit to be paired up with the Sovereign of the Spirit World. This is the only historical fantasy I actually finish watching lol.
Miles miles miles lol I just saw his pathetic weak one sided lover character in Flourised Peony and now his love here is unrequited as well. But fortunately, he is a powerful still kinda pathetic albeit selfish character, very fit for a villain role. He still pissed me off 😠I love his first appearance like hello grand entrance.

It has interesting plot, not so good in its execution. If there will be s2, hope it will be better than this.
