I just wanna throw this out there for those who say it's not realistic what Teh did:
Was it really unrealistic for his character though? To me Teh has always been conflicted, a bit selfish and fighting his inner demons. That was essentially the whole first season for him. He was fighting lust and desire, to which he gave into by the end. Lust is super plausible for those this young and since he didn't really develop a healthy way of handling strong emotions, I am not at all shocked he gave in again to his desires without thinking.
The whole premise of the prelude episode to this new season was leaving their childhood behind. It was an ominous play on how diving into this idea that school, new friends, careers, etc. don't complicate the mechanics of a relationship. Growth has quite a bit to do with change and unfortunately not everyone likes the change growth produces and they long for who you used to be. I am referencing Teh of course.
Teh is impulsive and doesn't have a ton of emotional control or regulation of his emotions. I think this cheating moment will be a lesson for him on the severity of your actions when you don't have impulse control or communicate those deeper feelings to your partner. Whether they end up together or not, it's a realistic move for the story and a captivating one. I felt his character was on his way to some type of self destructive behavior again, as he did that many times in the first season. Each time not thinking of someone else or himself when he acted impulsively.
Sorry for the long winded junk. The mindless ramblings of a girl in her 30's lmfao.
Fantastic direction they took and you CAN'T change my mind. As a BL community it's rarely accepted to take things to this level. We all desperately use this to escape reality and I get it. But what makes this show the best is it's realistic portrayal of humans, relationships and emotions. I am legit sad at the hate for this episode and the fans turning on the director or the script. Real growth, relationships and life is not all positive. Part of being young is accepting your mistakes and learning from them. I am more than excited for next weeks episode! This show really does it for me, I can't say it enough. It's simply the best and this episode has finalized that this show doesn't play around. I marked spoiler because I really don't want to screw someone over just pre popping in for some level gauging.
I have been watching it here when they upload them. I thought this was a verified YouTube channel for Lovely Writer. Let me know if I am wrong community! I was just sad to see they haven't updated with EP 4 yet.
creative people need to be able to make money, too, and that's what's subscription services are for, just like…
I agree! I pay for the subscription and it's worth it. I was able to watch this and No. 1 for you. The best I can say for these people who are on a budget or think "what can be done?" is you can just wait till they release it all then binge on a subscription. But logging in to watch it weekly and paying is the best way we secure more series in the future. It's funny, there is so many things I don't have access to and I don't walk around thinking I am somehow entitled to it. I have to wonder if they feel the same entitlement walking into a movie theater and being told "Ticket please." Is there just a shock and awe as they're not admitted to watch it for free? Lol. Rant over.
Trying to be nice, but the people complaining about this show might need to stay away from anything complex or shows with a mystery. If you watch this without the intent of just waiting for some dirty scenes, it's actually really good. There are plenty of shows that will satisfy a BL fan and there is very little thinking needed, I would watch those instead. At the very least, just change the expectations about BL and it might come easier for you. There is a trend with humans, that if you don't understand it, then you must destroy it. So many bad reviews, comments and negativity about this show. But really it boils down to people not have a long attention span, ability to read more intricate stories from subtitles and invest themselves in something that isn't a complete thirst trap. I love this show, the acting is great and the story has yet to confuse me, rather I find it exciting.
I'm beyond astounded that people hate on this show. It's freaking funny and cute! I almost never laugh at these shows, but I really find this hilarious. The characters are charming, yet goofy. The 3 gays and an ignorant straight friend is unique to this world and continues to be a weekly fave. Yes, yes, ITSAY is the #1 baby. But it's over and this doesn't make my heart bleed out. Just watch it, don't take it seriously. It's far better quality than most Thai specific BL I have on my weekly watch list. #havefunyasillys
