I'm glad I ignored the negative comments, I genuinely had no issues binging the first 5 episodes. I think with the first few special effects you need to just treat it like a throwback to Twilight or something XD. But otherwise it's worth a watch and I'll be adding this to the weekly watchlist.

This was sooo much better than I originally thought it would be. It takes quite a bit for these shows to have my bawling my eyes. I highly recommend this show for anyone that is looking for solid chemistry and a unique story.

Episode 2 was really good! Hopefully anyone judging off of ep 1 alone will keep watching, I really love this show!

Somehow they're always a part of the first to show up and the last to leave these comment sections. It's good on you to block them, as I'm pretty sure there is some possible mental instability or underlying issue with hate watchers.

I agree! Though I'll be damned if I'll come around this comment section much once it's airing. My excitement for this is too high and my little heart can't take the negativity.

I kind of wish I saved this one for my death bed XD I feel like all other BL will be forever compared to this, BOC really just landed one of the best shows I've ever seen.

This is one of the highest quality shows I've seen in a very long time. I can't even imagine my weeks (my free time would be gone) if this was the level of quality being put out by more BL shows.

I'm not sure where you're located, but certain VPN's can become free with cashback sites or almost free. I just did Nord VPN with a cashback site that gives 80% off, but I did see one for 130% off another VPN service. I typically go to Cashbackmonitor.com to find the best deals. I do recognize this isn't the best thing since you have to front the money. But other than that, I used to just chase free trials.

Any other recent BL's that you felt tanked on MDL, but are worth a watch?

I have quite a few I skipped, but I'm worried I'm missing some gems. I have shows on my list that I completed, but ended at a 7.0, but I loved them anyway. I seem to do best just committing from ep 1 and seeing where it goes, as once I see the overall score I get discouraged.
