I am a little late to the game, but I just finished episode 3 and I was just screaming the whole way through. I love this so much. This is so freaking addicting! Back to the grind, I have to catch up. XD
I'm seriously floored to be watching yet another fantastic new BL! I wasn't sure what to expect with the show, but the chemistry is amazing and the actors are my usual faves. Chontalee was actually a huge fave of mine, so I'm glad to see Khao in another main role.
I'm still waiting patiently for the day Neo gets his own main role. I will support the heck out of whatever he is casted in, adore his acting. XD
I'm honestly blown away with this show. The aesthetic, acting, sexiness and of course the chemistry. I wish there was more media hype behind this show, it's worth watching.

I went from one comment section to the next. Quite a bit of toxicity and negativity emanating from your comments. I do want to thank you for dropping things you don't like though. I'm hoping to avoid seeing your downer comments in the future.
I'm truly wondering why every time a MAME show drops people come to even comment/watch. You're not the target audience and since many of you have seen her previous works, you know her style.
I suppose I'm just not sure why the haters waste their time/weekend on slamming a show. I already know they'll be here weeks from now, still commenting and watching.
Why you ask? Because they can't admit they're drawn to the toxicity and they want to feel "triggered" so they can (I'm assuming) emotionally avoid something else going on in their lives.
If they had the ability to walk away, I'd think differently. But something is going on in their lives that this is how they find an outlet for their feelings.
If you hate these types of shows, take the advocacy and put it to good use. You could go watch some of the non problematic shows and spread "positivity" in their comments section. That way marketing wise there will be more of a draw to create the less problematic ones. But for now, you're giving these ones too much attention and it's not changing the game.
Y'all wouldn't be even watching a single episode of any Mame work unless you're brand new to BL or you actively enjoy the toxicity.
I love her stuff and I'm 100% able to recognize where it's problematic, then take that information to continue avoiding people in real life that display those behaviors. I do not model my real life after her characters and those that do shouldn't be watching television without supervision.

I love this show to bits and the chemistry is off the charts. Ignoring the ratings on here is a good idea! I have seen people on here dysregulate and seemingly have unlimited time to burn shows. I'm talking people commenting over a 100 times throughout the course of a week to spread the hate. Makes me wonder if they spend time creating fake accounts or doing shady stuff to beat shows down.
It's BL that isn't really leading to full on explicit scenes or content. But I would say the term is only used when referring to Japanese Manga or Anime. I own Shonen Ai manga and typically it could maybe lead to a fluffy kiss or in some cases no kisses. But at some point it's made clear that two boys do have a love interest in one another. This particular show is based on the manga and it's a "Shonen Ai".
Just wanted to attempt to wash out the hate for this show and give my support to the actors. I truly love this show and there hasn't been any complaints for me. I find it leagues better than the shortened version and the chemistry is quite good. I think for anyone on the fence I would dive in, as six episodes is always a great place to start a mini binge. I even signed back up for Tencent because it really caught my eye, well worth the money.

I've seen your comments on here and I'm super confused why you haven't dropped the show. It seems like you're mostly invested in being really mean spirited and angry to others, which can be a common theme of those dealing with something else in their lives. I will try not to make assumptions, but whatever you're going through does have it's limits where empathy is concerned.
As far as your concern over the ratings on these shows, if you want something more explicit there is quite a few that hit that mark. This personally for me wouldn't be G as there has been use of alcohol, questionable consent and the beginnings of an erotic scene that lead to obvious implications. For that I would say most countries wouldn't rate it G or PG as you've pointed out. There are other themes as well, though I don't really think it's worth pointing out beyond the main ones I have specified.
I hope things get better and you find some peace. Lot's of great shows out there, so you might want to check those out to get a break and give a break from the negativity. I know it seems self righteous of me to come for a stranger in a comment, but the name calling is really uncalled for.
I'm just happy ratings no longer play a factor in what I watch on here. Just happily watching this and knowing full well it deserves better. But the best I can do is pay for the subscription to watch it legally and leave a good rating! I know why everyone is rating it down though.

I think given the context, consent and lack of grooming there is nothing inherently crazy going on here. Though as usual, I must remind folks it's just a drama based on tropes, fantasy and meant to be used as entertainment.

Everyone has me truly wondering some days if you're being actually forced to watch the shows that you comment on or review on here. It drains my soul sifting through the haters to find the actual fans of a show. I just finished a fantastic movie that was rated as a 7.2 on here.
Thankfully aside from coming in here to remind you that your comments are ageing out or your just actual kids, I don't really take this to heart.
Not to mention there is often a reason behind a casting choice such as this. One being that he's a seasoned actor with a higher level of skill then someone new/younger. Plus he's a bigger name in this industry, therefore he'll draw in more viewers. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of really young actors that are fantastic out there. But it's far and few, plus less likely they've made a name for themselves.
The dysregulation of emotions in these comments to the point that many are not marking "spoilers" is disheartening. I don't dare come here until I watch the episode, but I'm sure many do and possibly aren't on this current episode.
I love the enthusiasm, but there is a spoiler box you can check and if you don't there is the ability for others to report you.
