Rewatching... because why not? Also :1. This is a GL and will forever be no matter what.2. This drama deserves…
Technically in GL but fails on romance and which I was hoping for. I started this from sight unseen, not knowing that it was a GL but being disappointed that the Thriller plot supplanted never mind. The masturbation subplot got more time. π
I thought I was the only one who felt grossed out by the scene when he approached her by the river when she was…
That seems also seem to be a reflection after he'd gone into the human body. He even had the family room he was holding her and checked himself after thinking her attractive. I'm not sure he was physically present or that he was seeing her in a memory
for people watching this - this is not a love story. this is thriller mystery psychological drama as it says in…
It took me too long to figure that out. The Romantic tension and sexual expression in the drama is wasted on the Thriller. Imagine that's why this is more lower rated because the thriller story isn't very good
At 11 episodes I'm more concerned about how the romantic tension between the leads is being squandered for some drug side plot and idiotic Dr Demento dad storyline. Get back to school in the good stuff. The kiss in the dream sequence, but blow the opportunity in the ball pit, and after when watching fireworks. It feels like this train is headed to a brick wall and I'm not going to be satisfied.
Diabolical dad is boring, but LHR is mesmerizing. I'm halfway through in the GL isn't gellin' yet. The level of sexual expression was higher than I expected though. π All good.
Oh, the drama! But ina good way. This drama is intense and it's subject matters do not pull punches. I am thankful for the element of humor that is added. As in many saeguks, though they are mildly oppressed, there's also great joy and humor among the servant class. I'm starting to get a Game of Thrones feeling that no one is safe. We've had the characters come and go even in these first four episodes. Lim Ji yeon is great in this role. She has endured a lot of ups and downs even in these First episodes. But it has been wonderful to watch your transition from the slave into the lady Ok. I think she is both the Old and the new even though she confesses that the old is gone.
Question: is her father alive? It seemed that shortly after he left I would have assumed he died going back home. But he is not been shown or spoken to be dead, which leaves it open.
Did somebody forget to tell the writer that she has 16 episodes, because why on earth did she cram so much into…
As far as individuals within the hearts group, it seemed as though one was shown as wanting to wear makeup and dress like a girl. Another, who was his first, appeared to be another crossdresser/ trans. I think it's intentionally vague. It is tragic that there was a time when these differences were thought to deserve death.
