This film fired all thrusters. Kudo to director/writer Kang Je Gyu for a great story and cinematography. however, the real backbone of this film is the wonderful chemistry of the main actors, especially Ha Jung woo and Bae Sung woo. It was so easy and fun to watch these two. Yim Si-wan also shone in a great, grueling, and emotional performance.
What is with PSH's weird bangs? It's kind of putting me off from watching the show. Plus I'm trying to figure out why a demon judge would want to come and punish other evildoers. Seems a little oxymoronic. I've heard it's good, though.
I know another user already mentioned it but FL's English isn't just bad, it's horrendous. Distracting. And we're supposed to believe she was raised or spent years in the US?
One thing this drama has going for it is how colorful it is. Excellent use of color and costumes to contrast the desert setting in the earth tones of structures and such.
Not trying to start anything here, I totally respect your opinion, to each and their own. And as much as you had…
Emily is the plot swiss cheese but the production and performances for the most part are cheesy on their own. That the production value on this is mid for full drama. Everything seems pronounced. The overacting our situational drama plays more to comedy.
Let me get this straight, so SML kidnaps SFL and kILLS EVERY ONE riding with her, and they are supposed to have…
It's almost entirely ridiculous the entire time. He may even forget that he kidnapped her and killed everyone but this drama for me is for kicks and giggles. And only in watch party format.
When I started Gyeongseong Creature 2, I did not realize I was in for the sadistically comical and repeated abuse of Park Seo Joon. Granted I am just over the halfway point and into the opening portion of episode 5, but this is getting ridiculous. I know he's about to turn the tables but this man is taking a lot of Korean style beatings.
That said the scene of him tying his shoes and looking up before joining the 1945 group for the photo in front of the antique shop was fantastic. Excellent use of slow motion and PSJ's smile is excellent .
Help? So, she didn't die, but she didn't go back for him? I'm not thrilled that he's not Mr. Jang. I was sure there would be some inexplicable time jump. I'll give it a go though.
Top leads were great, fight scenes as well, but story and overall credibility was lacking. There were a couple of points where I rolled my eyes because the police weren't called or that Woo Bin just stumbles on the bad guy hideout, by accident, before the finale. For what felt very much like a TV movie, it was fine. Big fan of Kim Sung Kyun.
