My thoughts exactly. The story ended practically in episode ten but kept going. I like the characters. I'd be willing to check out a season too , but i'm not gonna be waiting for it. Poor Ji hoon. I liked that kid.

He appears to have no love for his father even if he does mother. I agree with you. I don't expect him to make trouble. It will be interesting to see how the mother-in-law treats Yeo wha Once all is revealed.

I was thinking about that as well. Will the freedom be more important than the animosity toward her father in law once its revealed. I hope she gets the chance to blow up at him at least.

Absolutely. I love the captain's assistant. And episode seven his story story to the other soldiers out in front of the garrison was pretty hilarious. He is quite the romantic and a good performer.

The intensity of the motion in his eyes in his frustration at her suicide game was great. Though he hasn't had much range of emotion , he does well in expressing it on the down low.

Not only that but the back and forth between ML and his subordinate. Hilarious.

I really enjoyed the brand of humor that this drama brought. I wouldn't say it silly, but I wouldn't call it slapstick and it is definitely legitimate. Min Jin Woong and Park Kang sub shine as a comic duo. Their chemistry together is great as well as with TaecYeon. There are some moments of real drama and they are Performed well even with the overall lighter tone. Lee Jae Kyoon was fantastic as a relatively sympathetic villain.

Thanks for this comment. It does solidify some of the ideas. There is a lot going on in the island but it boils down to two sides. Are the villagers caught in the middle?

Is i'm actually finding the plot interesting. Things to develop more in episodes five and six. Special effects are pretty bad. but characterizations are good.

The side characters in this drama deserved more time. It was a great squad that didn't have enough time to develop.
That said I started out liking ML, Ended up disliking him. Started out wondering what's up with Doona. Many different segments of her staring sadly out windows later, I still wondered is up with Doona.
That said, I thought she had some great moments including being locked in the bathroom, And my personal favorite scene is her confrontation of Won jun in the subway at the end.
I don't understand the praise for this drama because it feels like a highlight real of a longer, better story than we got.

Go Dong Mae is one of my favorite MLs. If not my favorite.

Wait what? When did Sangeang's father ever come into play? This drama continues to frustrate me and it's convoluted second half.

My problem is that the investigation was lost in the second half. The past over took the present. By the time we get back to the present...
