Its a high point. I know its been said more than a few times - the actress playing his sister is strikingly beautiful. Have never noticed her before.

The quality and volume of ML costumes are a stand out. They suit him well and have an intriguing flow/movement.

LOTFG lead actress looked like she would break in half any minute in battle. FL here is believable and has fighting talent.

Shen Wu, minister of rites - may be the most 'normal' roll this actor (Li Yu) has played in years. His overacting usually drives me lulu.

Noted. It also seems possible that the father has wised up over the years to the minister and his daughter and may be playing the long game to protect the ML. Waiting for the right time to annote him. Interesting to see what happens.

waiting to see the point of her existence in the drama. the actress is playing a high level of dumb and irritating well though. 😅

Note to self: do not find the ML attractive at all which is helping with my interest level in the drama. Can focus on the whole drama without distractions.

Confused. Is the ML dad for him or against him? Keeps flip flopping. And, is the uncle the 'traitor' bad guy? Curious about the twists and turns and if there are any or if we take everything at face value and enjoy the ride.

have not picked up on it yet. not that it isn't there. just not on my radar.

Six ep is not enough. Still unsure - not hooked in. Will keep watching a bit more. What I am happy to see is Li Quin back on my screen. She is a solid capable actor who actually knows how to convincingly 'fight like a man'. Even when the script is falling out around her (think: Wolf) she manages to hold the line. No complaints. For me she is like the female version of Liu Xue Yi.
