OMG - I finally get to start watching this. I am SO excited! Comments have not dissapointed - peaked my interest. Off to binge and eat Swiss chocolate - no really.
I friggen feel like we just got an early Xmas pressie. So excited. Tiger balls - arghhhhhh - must wait until I hit my work deadline (Tuesday) before I can start watching. Scheduled brain usage is overrated. Counting on the 'STTD gangsters' comments to keep me in the loop until then. Gonna be the ultimate drama teaser.
Do not think her age is being targeted. Think is just the fact that she does appear to be her actual age (38)…
She is stunning! The visual gap is being accentuated by his acting. DYX has to be one of the most sweetly adorable pure expressive actors out there. He comes across as young and innocent squared.
It's gotta be said. True, Victoria might not be the best actress, but targeting her age etc, is just misogynistic…
Do not think her age is being targeted. Think is just the fact that she does appear to be her actual age (38) and he appears to be younger than his age (30) - the visual gap is significant and offputting. For me, there is nothing wrong with her age or her acting its simply a matter of misscasting - they needed a younger looking 38 year old women or an older looking 30 year old man.
From day one of the drama I wanted to be not lost - waiting for the story to unfold at face value - and rolling with it. However, each episode leaves me more and more confused, lost, and impatient. Not going to miss finishing this drama though - the production value and level of acting is more than worth it.
Every episode gets better and better. Some of the fight scenes are stellar. What I like most about this drama is that it feels like words on a page are inseprable from the digital video. The words seem to be coming to life as written - as the author imagined.
MLs no acting acting is a stand out. Peng Xiao Ran's acting is the best part of the drama so far and her character is one of the best female roles in recent memory. The real deal female balanced against the boss ass bitch is award worthy. For me all the female roles, so far, are refreshing.
The jump off the screen energy between MYM & TLY could make him an actor to watch out for in the future.
She's too mature(her emotional scenes)π«£Also,she always seek Princess help.I can't with Ml,his sad expression…
She does come across too mature - way too mature. Do not mind her acting its just Ding Yu Xi's acting is too much of a contrast - its so sweet, innocent, compelling, masculine, and relatable. His facial gestures alone are top tier. Since episode 17, depending on the scene, their relationship kinda gives me the creepies. Its not the story line and/or original material its the acting contrast for me.
understand your perspective. used to have a nail biting problem in my youth that was exceptionally hard to stop. in this instance , i am commenting on his nail biting in the context of being a professional actor in a drama. under the circumstances of the industry, it does matter and the habit does effect his professional status. for his own sake, including his professional future, i hope he finds a way to stop. personally i wish him all the best.
This show is such an emotional rollercoaster !! I swear i cry every episode !! Seeing the sister-in-laws doing…
to essentially start the drama with the slaughter of such a family was too much to take. hard to get back up after that. even with the sil doing their martial arts.
