watching for him. his I love you scene was goosebump worthy. he is bizarrely handsome and you could actually feel him vs watch him act. loved him in MJ2U and love him even more now. not sure if I see him as the romantic lead over and over again though we are about to find out with his upcoming dramas. again I say, I can see him in rolls as a strategist, semi-villain, cultivator, side sexy, etc.
can imagine its been said here on the board more than once - our ML has one amazing low sexy voice. oh my. loving the FLs natural comedic timing. her laugh/goofiness is infectous and she is pulling off acting the part well. really like how she is almost extra pretty and then just pretty and then again just cute. she has talent to be certain. the editing leaves much to be desired. the story line is so so and some of the side acting is as well. can not imagine how they are going to stuff 3 lifetimes into this drama but lets see how it goes. going to keep watching for now.
FL is adorable. she acts just like a cat. noticed her in the GAD and thought okay whatever. but here she shines. love everything about how she is pulling this off (so far). the drama in general is not a big hit with me - its pleasantly watchable and I have no complaints. the over exposed saturated colour punch and better than average set designs are fun to watch. not sure about the terminal close ups though. its a lets wait and see how this progresses drama. gonna keep watching for now.
agree with those who comment that this is probably more of a drama for females. did a women write it?
Ryan Cheng is an absolute smokin snack. My new favorite up and coming actor. Discovered him in My Journey to You and have not given up yet. There is a scene in Episode 17 that is a must watch. Its the eyes and the fact on variety shows he is intelligent, mature, manly and 'rizzy'. Meow. Oh my. Still I do think he is better suited for 'almost villian'or 'villian redeption' or 'master strategist' rolls.
deep into this cultivation story, enchanted by this drama (and hoping for a second season), I am reminded once again that essentially in this lifetime we are all on our own cultivation journey. I encourage everyone who watched this drama to dig deeper into this storyline - maybe you do not have enough time for the novels, then go ahead and jump into the dongue or the manhua. you will not regret it.
In the last episode, Han Li said "If she is not Nangong Wan, then I can't tell her about the teleportation…
good catch. she was, at the time, not as confident in him hence her acting like she was someone else. he was her cultivation 'heart demon/demon heart' - she had to learn to trust herself first.
I don't know why some people like to say Han Li had many lovers and in actual fact he didn't. If you read the…
if you read the book you know what chapters. now I see what you were working towards by challenging them to provide more information besides a fandam page search. and, its fair to say 'attitude' as for me it does feel agressive. my goal is to get as many people as possible to actually take in this body of work that has been life changing for me.
NGW looks like a guest star. Only 3 episodes left and she still doesn't appear😁. Does she have some problems…
according to the novel, her character is not at the center of the story yet. there would be no reason for her to be on screen. the mistake is that she was designated as FL. there is no FL in this drama.
Know it does not really matter and that I am repeating myself yet again when I say that HL was not in love with Mo. Its not that he did not care for her, that he was not fond of her, or that he did not think of her again in the future. Its that, at the time, he had no experience with romantic feelings nor did he want to. At the center of his being/world, his life compass, was cultivation. That was the filter that he saw the world through. He controlled his feelings and made his decisions based on his cultivation. If you need to call it first infatuation or even puppy love then okay. Maybe its more correct to call it sad unrequited love which viewers seem to be reponding too.
Future reference: his first love, his first wife, was Nangong Wan. The only woman he ever claimed independently - thats my woman and I am going to go get her (and kill people in the process if I have to). As we watch this drama they have already spent a lifetime together - we are actually introduced to them here in the drama on their second lifetime together (time travel/reincarnation). If there is a season 2 or 3 then we should get to part of their love story. If not then please read the books because not even the dongue has gotten there yet. Or wait out the dongue as the HL/NW story will heat up sooner than you can get through a part of one book.
Note: before anyone in fandom gets agro - he took at least one more wife and he had an accidental concubine (no contact).
