155 episodes (as of this week) and going. It will take years more before the dongue comes to the end of the first novel. Somewhere online there is a calculation of just how many years.
I don't know why some people like to say Han Li had many lovers and in actual fact he didn't. If you read the…
After reading both the novel and the sequal the answer is that he did eventually marry Fairy Violet Spirit / Zi Ling in an unofficial quiet ceremony. FVS was not originally written/designated as a Mo reincarnation. It was the fanbase that insisted on it due to 'detective work' and the writer eventually said okay if you all need her to be then she is.
who is this wang ning. did she appear in any episode till now ?
Actually, she was, in fact, not originally written/designated as a Mo reincarnation. It was the fanbase that insisted on it and the writer eventually said okay if you need her to be then she is. The human obsession for romance is a force. However, this is a cultivation novel set. Relationships are part of the cultivation story and each relationship serves to enhance the cultivation of the other. Relationship building was 10% or less of the entire vast cultivation story.
A question to novel readers as I just read spoilers like NGW will be the main wife of HL in the end, When did…
Cultivators and immortals - time is relative. See Parray Zubeyr HL time chart below. When he marries her its actually a relatively short amount of cultivator time he then goes on to spend the rest of his 'time' with her. And, it is in fact the second lifetime he spent with her.
I really like the fight scenes and the bond that everyone has I really hope we don't lose anymore valuable members…
Speaking of team members. I just realized that the Song Meng character is non other than the brother panther in The Demon Hunter. This guy can act and his physicality and martial arts skills are on point. A fighter in real life. Face is giving too. Same same though - what a force this actor would be if he was just that much taller.
Favorite character so far? Mine is Li Fei Yu - the LFY we see here in the drama and the future version LFY. Its also nice that Edward Zhang is one of my favorite support actors.
IMO - Its a hybrid artform shadowing the cultivation arch. As HL moves forward towards immortality the story evolves/mutates…
point well made. my take is due in part to the mantra set out by HL master (Mo) act mortal live immortal. its underpinning HL's cultivation and is reflected in the storyline arch from wuxia to xianxia.
they finally took out the romance tag 👏👏but the wuxia tag is wrong 😅 this is a xianxia
IMO - Its a hybrid artform shadowing the cultivation arch. As HL moves forward towards immortality the story evolves/mutates as well. The first novel starts as a wuxia then moves to a hybrid wuxia/xianxin and then on to full xianxia. In the sequal novel the story moves from a xianxia to arguably being a xianxia/xuanhuan hybrid with an emphasis on xianxia. This drama - for me - is a hybrid wuxia/xianxia with very early wuxia and ultimately xianxia
In the novel A Record of Mortal's Journey to Immortality (this Drama), Mo dies as a mortal and then is reincarnated…
WTF is with you people. More nonsense. I said he married her. Never said she was his concubine. I never said he did not love her. Nor did I critic the intricacies of their cultivation union and/or the strength or form of their romantic union. What I did say, IMO, is that he loved his first wife, whom he married twice (regardless of how he met her), more than any other creature in his sphere. I then went on to reinforce the fact that this is not a romance/love story its a cultivation story. Period.
In the novel A Record of Mortal's Journey to Immortality (this Drama), Mo dies as a mortal and then is reincarnated…
Agree with you 100% - there is a lack of moments of HL with his 2 wives (and one concubine). There is too much room to interpret what is or is not happening. Why? Cause this is at its core a cultivation towards immortality story told from the perspective of a man who prioritized his cultivation..
In the novel A Record of Mortal's Journey to Immortality (this Drama), Mo dies as a mortal and then is reincarnated…
Not appreciated. I did read the novel. Even though its been a while I am not spreading misinformation and I resent you saying so. You were not able to refute any of the facts set out in my post. So what is your point?
1. Fact - Mo reincarnation: Your comment reinforces my point. Wang Ning was designated as a reincarnation of Mo only after a series of discussions between fandom and writer 'by permission of the writer'.
2. Fact - she was a concubine twice. How is this wrong? If she had sex (some argue that one of her relationships was intimate) or not she had a complicated life with these men before marrying HL as the second wife.
3. Fact: a quick dalliance - 'several intimate months'. The word dalliance refers to intimacy (sex) between the two. If you read the book you would recall that while they spent months together the physical intimate contact developed over the time they spent together. They were not jumping on each other from day one. Lets call it sex over a few months. So, in cultivator culture terms it was a very very short 'blink of an eye' amount of time.
IMO its not necessary to paint a picture that his relationship with Wang Ning was a deep profound love story. That is the beauty of personal interpretation of the novel. I go back to the fact that his primary wife, whom he married twice, was clearly his deep profound love over two lifetimes.
