I agree with your comment but, you know why i think Ming's mother don't see that Tong is a golddigger? because May doesn't have any money. Ming say in this episode that, since his family is super conservative, they will never let their daugther have any kind of fortune so Tong messed up in this. I guess when he knew about this he decided to cozy up to his mother in law so he could press Ming better.

Tong is a lazy bastard who, even if he do this movie, he will only do 10 minutes of it while Joe, as his stand in, will still do everything on it without credit again. So really i don't think Ming was that much worried about it (Also Tong is partially responsible of Joe's death too i get why Ming decided to do this) and also Tong didn't retaliated because he lost this work, he did because Ming refuse to give him the money he is asking for. I'm pretty sure he already took the credit from the movie.

Tong just wants Joe out because he can see he is reason Ming is not giving him everything he wants. That is completely unprovoked, Joe never did anything to him, he is a complete psychopath.

The end of episode 22 🤣🤣🤣. That will need some explaining to do i wonder if they got no chance but to tell his mother the truth? will see tomorrow.

Sai 'er my sweet little baby the interactions she have with Bie Li are better everytime. He is just so amused by her. They're going step by step i hope that fiance of her didn't appears out of nowhere and mess everything up, i want them to be happy together (Now that he stopped being grumpy cat lol).

Suo Luo and Ruo Qian were nice this episodes too but i feel this is going to be so hard on them. this drama have that progresive vision that we rarely see in a custome drama: Ruo Quian being a slave but still able to study, The princess and the chancellor being the only women in those position in this dinasty, how Ruo Qian confront the past chancellor on his outdated thinking about women (Not really outdated in the drama i guess, so what Ruo Qian did have more value) and how her own mother get him drunk for humilliating her. Of course Nan Xing herself is very not your typical FL not Sai'er, both independent and smart women who know martial arts.

Still, i don't know if this will be enough for Su Luo and Ruo Qian to be their happily ever after, they got the hardest part in my opinion.

I looove our main couple moments together and i really need them to know already about the childhood connection because their bond is so good now this will only make it even better. The scene at Xin Bai office was super beautiful and Nan Xing was sneaky with her transformation like "Well, maybe tomorrow, i will sleep with you again" lol. Sadly it got sooner than expected 😅😅😅

But, without a doubt, my favorite scene today was the conversation between Su Luo and her mother after that trash called Dean Yan told about the engagement. My feelings about Xin Bai's mother are complicated but i really like everything she said to Su Luo: That Dean Yan was not good and don't deserve her daugther, that maybe the king will accept it but not her mother, that she don't want anyone to force her on a marriage she doesn't want. I guess this scene made me understand her better. She wants the best for her kids but all the political involvement is hard to navigate. If they don't think about it she have to for their sakes's. I just hope she end up accepting Nan Xing 😜😜😜

Joe is just so jelaous of any guy that Ming will get close to is just amazing lol. Of course Ming is a read flag but Joe have his little things too. He just want Ming for himself and that's all. The NC scene was beautiful, Joe clearly didn't expected that, i feel that was a changing point for him to accept Ming feelings better.

Sol face is going to be so pissed i can't wait to see it lol.

Tong 😡🤬😡🤬. I hate this trash so much. But the trick is going to backfire on him because he didn't think that Ming could be as bad as him. Tong is used to fuck up the lives of people less afortunate than him or people he can manipulate but Ming is not either of them now. When he went upstairs and tell his father the truth was just amazing. Ming is going to have a hard time ahead of him now but Tong still is not going to get the money and that is the most important part 😌😌😌

Joe is still proving that his biggest problem with Ming is not his personality is not being the only one for him. He is so jelaous, first of Tong when he called and hang up on him (Which was so fun and great) and then of the new Joe. Like Joe ask Ming "If you miss me so much why are you hooking up with this guy?" omg Joe you're jelaous of yourself, take it easy 😂😂😂

Joe can't really resist Ming specially not one that is all over him 24/7. It was nice while it last but will see how the last two episodes go for our guys.

P.S.: I don't miss Sol but i really want him to know Ming and Joe are back together to see his loser face (Sorry but he was annoying on episode 9)

I looove both last episodes. Even Su Luo was not annoying and that is something.

We finally know why Bie Li was taking bribes from Mr. Li and, after than tense meeting with the king (Bi Li knew he mess up the moment he got there and the other two were already there) finally he and Xin Bai are a team.

Too funny Xin Bai calling him stupid in so many ways and Bai Li way of apologizing lol. Now that they're a team (And seems Bai Li is going to get his nose back in the next ep, a little against his will so i'm not sure i love it) will see if they can stop the Zornia bussiness.

Bai Li and Sai'er are super cute together. She was so sad thinking he couldn't smell anything but well that let him enjoy her food. That scene was hilarious tbh. I'm really looking forward to more scenes with this two.

And our main leads 😍 😍 😍 😍 . When Xin Bai asked her who she love and she said everyone around him except him and how worried she was when the kidnapping part and after. He is completely head over heels for her, he really can't hide it anymore (Not that he hide it at any point tbh). I really like how, when she said she will protect him, his answer was "We protect each other" which talk about how really balanced this relationship is. this couple is 10/10 i really like them. We just need the final discovery about their childhood, hope not to long from here.

Well we now know were that bratty character of Su Luo came from 🙄 🙄 🙄 . I don't understand why they have to go after a stranger when what Xin Bai said is true: His marriage must be something for them to choose by law and he maybe have to obey family rules but Nan Xing is not part of this. Suo Luo only did it to mess with Xin Bai and hurt him. I'm getting super tired of her tbh.

I love how he finally confront her and that love declaration to Nan Xing about her being his woman 😍😍😍. I'm so glad she hear it, can't wait to see the next time they saw each other how they interact.

Nan Xing was so jelaous of the blind date lol. Him faking to not recognize the minister daugther was funny too. Also when Nan Jifeng say he covered him on the casino so he could keep investigating and Xin Bai like "Sure, of course, not that i didn't recognize you" 🤣🤣🤣

P.S: I need more Sai'er there was too little of her this two eps still adore her ♥♥♥

If you don't like love triangles please don't watch this because this is most obnoxious, annoying and pain in the ass SML i ever saw in any drama. Everytime i see his stupid face i want to punch the screen.
I understand the FL should tell him to fuck off but she did and he is still being annoying OMG!!!!

I'm on episode 16 so i really hope this shit ends soon.

P.S: Still worth it for me because Bai Lu is everything good in this world and they are cute together (When the SML left them be of course 🙄🙄🙄)

I love the couples in this episodes: Our main leads are getting closer with both confirming out loud their secrets and helping each other. It was so endearing when Nanxing use the cloth to try and understand how it is his life. And please he can't be more in love omg!!! the way he looks at her, how apoligize in his own way and how he was basically confesing his love when he explain his mother about the marriage. btw, if the emperor really have to approve both marriages (Xin Bai and Suo Luo) i wonder how Su Luo and Ruo Quian relationship is going to work since i doubt they allow her to marry a slave.

Sai'er and Bie Li, omg how cute. Sai'er is still my favorite because she is the cutest but look at grumpy cat Bie Li smiling everytime he talks to her. i love it!

btw, the grandpa said in this ep Xin Bai's father died exiled so the chance of him being back is out.

The most funny part for me is like all of the actors and actress in every drama are thin. ALL OF THEM. so why people keep commenting about Luo like it is the only thin one on a sea of fat people or something is amazing to me.

And he looks gorgeous btw but that is my personal bias lol.

Yeah, i understand why she is not clear to him, it is a 40 episodes drama after all, but it was refreshing when they got to know pretty early the secrets they have so i'm ready for them to get to the next stage and work together. I know there is going to be more episodes till we get to this but i really don't find it that draggy. The mistery plot with the Zordia and all that is entertaining for me too so i'm ok :).

Suo Luo is getting super annoying. She should listen to her mother and go on with her bussiness but no, she seems to have so much envy and resentment for her brother that she keeps trying to get him in trouble. She is also stupid in this because Bie Li is going to use her to bring down Xin Bai. I don't even think he really consider her a friend tbh.

Sooo part of the emperor ministries are in on the Zordia matter so this is going to get serius pretty soon. I wonder if Xin Bai's father will be back? That will be interesting to see.

Nanxing need to tell all the truth about the guy he is looking for already. It is not that they aren't getting close (How nice he recognize her no matter what, he is even surprised about it ♥♥♥) but knowing Xin Bai is the one probably make Nanxing trust him completely again, i want that.

I'm just on episode 6 but i just have to watch this excuse of a human being called Chu Nan say to his mother that he was going to marry Xing Yun just to divorce her later so that he could be with the one he actually like, Shen Quing (Since she is divorced too).

For what i gather in my short time watching asian dramas being divorced, specially for the women, is not really accepted. So this guy was going to "ruin" Xing Yun's life just because he is a coward and can't man up in front of his mother. Yes, i know the importance of family in asian cultures but we need to be for real. Chu Nan is just trash.

Maybe this reactions are because both of them keep denying the matter? Like in today's episode she wants her sketchbook back because she doesn't want him to found out her secret and i think she means the shapeshifting. Nanxing don't believe Xin Bai actually believe the shapeshifting and, in his case, he keeps saying nothing when she keeps pushing the face blindness, she was doubting if it was true too at the start of episode 11 (She was sure after when talking with SuoLuo)
