American and Kdrama have smaller episode number so that's why they need fast pacing. Usually Kdrama is 12 episodes while Cdrama whooping 40 episodes, it was longer before new regulation. American drama even shorter with 7-8 episodes.

Cdrama literally struggle with filling up long episodes instead fast pace story.

MDL rank is janky. There is Legend of Heroes on rank 5, this drama already finished couple months ago and no one watch nor rate it anymore.
