I agree that rating in MDL completely skewed. Rating 7 technically unwatchable mess, average need to be around 8.1-8.2.

Not everything need to be earth shattering to deserve good rating. If it well made and entertaining than it deserve good rating.

Zhang Ziyi already had her time. She should play character that suits her.

Yang Mi character was righteous even though she play nine tails fox.

It is typical xianxia, the difference is foxy Sun Zenni as FL which kinda rare. Foxy character usually SFL or side character. Nothing to crazy but so far it is fun .

I kinda hated opening and ending songs that spoil the plot and character.

Looks like xianxia back on the menu bois. Finally good one after so many years.

Previous trailer were just straight Xianxia. But new trailer have some modern/scifi element like video game. Honestly kinda throw me off a little bit.

Yeah, new trailer is kinda odd and have different tone than previous trailer.
